It seem's like I've been here before.
yeah, I just bought wired 360 controller at EB, took it home and plugged it in. Windows recognized it as a 360 controller and good to go.On 2008-01-23 15:48, Sinue_v2 wrote:
Tip: They don't sell "PC Version" of 360 controllers. The 360 wired controller is USB 2.0 standard - and the drivers for it are already on your PC and will install automatically when you plug it in. They do sell a dock for the wireless controller in the case that you already have a 360. However, I would recommend getting the the wired controller since the L/R triggers aren't recognized.
With the wired controller - they have third party drivers which will fix the problem, but there are none for the wireless controller as of yet.
What else need be said? This man is truly a genius.. PS1 controller owns all TBH.On 2008-01-23 05:45, Dhylec wrote:

I use a ps2 controller through usb adapter
The native drivers are decent enough to play, but you can't map anything to the LT and RT (trigger buttons) because they are seen as analog inputs by windows (because they are!). PSU wants digital buttons, which the unofficial drivers will provide gladly. This way, you can use the same control scheme that Xbox360 users are using.yeah, I just bought wired 360 controller at EB, took it home and plugged it in. But you can survive without them anyway. (I play with the native microsofts drivers on my work PC and the unofficial ones at home)
