Where are these merges and how are they used? And what excatly are pb/amplifiers?
Merges are shields created by combining an Amplifier with the correct barrier type.
Support Merges (S/D, Resta/Anti) double the range of the specified spell(I believe)(only when equipped)
Attack Merges (Simple, Normal, Hard) Give a 30% boost to that particular spell when equipped.
Colored merges (Red, Yellow, Blue) Give a 20% boost to all spells of that color. (Yellow: Zonde, Gizonde, Razonde. Blue: barta, gibarta, rabarta. Red: foie, gifoie, rafoie)
You can find the shields that work with them in the mines, or buy them with photon drops. The amplifiers turn up in various locations.
PB/Amplifiers just speed up Photon Blasts. They're not related to merges.
PB/Amps speed up the gauges that result in your Photon Blasts.
