Synthing 50%

I've just started synthing properly. Synthed about 50 A ranks this week, managed to get x2 46%'s one a gatranata and one a Soda Hazzoc. x3 42%'s Kastuno-zashi, Muktrand and Gudda Gant. Managed to grind the muktrand 7/10 yesterday too

50% still eludes me

I have synthed only one 50% weapon out of the time I have been playing. An Ice Masanumera. Everything I synth comes out 36% or 12%. Never synthed a 40% + before ever. Weird.

What I love about certain failed A rank synths is getting Catilium. So far this week i've got 12 and its allowed me to synth two S ranks. One which was a double agito came out 38%

Bah, everyone knows 50% stuff is a myth, just like stacks of money and whatever else I'm looking for but can't ever seem to find. Whoever says they have one is most likely lying.

Hiya,

I've been synthing A ranks mainly, dabbled with a few S ranks but the highest was only a 36% Crimson. 2 Blackheart boards wasted ending up being Okiku Dolls

So thats why A ranks are more to my liking. 3 Synths per board I finally got 50% synth this weekend, not one or two but THREE

Gudda Gant 50% Lightning
Yoakisobra 50% Fire

Someone has experiemented pre-AoI that a 50% is about 1/300 chance. I don't know what's the chance is for AoI, but I think it's at least 1/100.

I remember back in pre-AOI synthing a 50% ice muktrand, then nothing but 12%-28%s for the next two months.

I wouldn't say its 1/100, i've often pondered the chance of getting a 50%, as synth items are usually only in even numbers and not odd, then there's 1/25 chance. If 25 is 100% then getting the 50% element would be 4% chance.

It is do able, I've synthed about 70 weapons last week and out of them 4 were 40+ and 3 were 50%. So it can be done, you just have to persevere.

The guy who thinks 50%'s are a myth obviously hasn't seen the option in community to view other players stats and equipment :P
