God fucking dammit, another game to shun the Wii?

I'm deeply interested in that nonetheless. About damn time they update the graphics set. Though I find it puzzling as to why they wouldn't include team modes at all. I mean hell, it was there before, no reason not to have it again.

I've always been more of a Street Fighter person than a King of Fighters person myself although 2-D fighters are by far my favorite genre of fighting, but I'm much more stoked about this game than I was about Street Fighter IV, can't wait. I know for sure that this game will rock.

I watched most of the character trailers on GameTrailers.com a few weeks ago. All I know is that I can't wait to play with Ralph(Red Bandanna guy) and Leona (Blue Haired woman). Also, I'm very curious about the Simultaneous Attacking thing and the Counters.

I'm hoping 'K is in it and easy to unlock or there from the get-go; I've given up on seeing Jenet and Mary in this one. I guess I'll try replacing them with Leona and Mature. Maybe even Mai and Elisabeth. /somewhat sexist

I've got high hopes for this one. I was terribly disappointed in Street Fighter IV.

My only gripe is the streamlining of the roster, but I suppose it's forgivable since the spritework is done so well. No Oswald...meh, he was always in my roster for XI. Good thing I only need to find one replacement for my usual team.

K9999 is now known as Nameless. KOFUM2k2 changed his appearance too so they won't get sued by the Akira movie resemblance. also Eolith still holds the rights to K9999 I think so that's another reason why K9999's name and appearance was changed.

it will definitely be the best movie ever since the director Fist of Legend is making it, and it has KOF characters.

Assuming you can get past the fact that the first picture looks like production shots for costume porn and the second picture looks like something you'd see in a Halloween catalogue.

Reception for the game has been lukewarm at best. SNK-Playmore kinda forgot about the evolution in the KoF engine that they made in KoF XI. They refined the switchout system to be much more balanced in XI from the piece of crap game they call KoF 2k3, and instead of building upon that, they scrapped the entire fucking thing and went with this pseudo-MAX mode/SF3 Yun Genei-jin system.

On the flipside, KoF 2k2 Unlimited Match has received a lot of positive response. UM fixed a lot of balance issues from the original 2k2 and prettied up the game to look less like crap. I have the PS2 release of the game, but the game recently underwent loketests (location tests) and looks like it's now fully out there in Japanese arcades.

Seeing how 98 UM went on the US side (XBox Live), hopefully they do the same for 2k2 UM.

For anyone who wants to play against other people without having to worry about lag issues, may I strongly recommend GGPO.
