    when you walk in to fight dark falz (assuming he is a boss). instead of fighting his normal form. the phantasy star 1 dark force shows up and you have to fight him instead. and because he is still 2D, no matter who looks at him or from what angle he will always appear to be looking directly at your screen.

    On snowy maps: random snowball fight.

    On seashore maps: monsters rudely crashing some civilian beach party. No escort; just kill the monsters before they drink all the beer. (Extra credit: when the event first breaks, you can push a button to automatically change into your swimsuit; beach party music plays in background during event.)

    Giant versions of normal enemies as random minibosses.

    Immobile android lumberjack who needs you to search for an oil can on the same level.

    Mortal Kombat with Dark Falz, complete with the winner performing a Fatality on the loser.
