I'm in similar boat, when it comes to the uniqueness of it. When I added frecks to Minabi in PSU, I thought....Perfect. There's something about the additional *character* that is added when freckles come in. Depending on the color and how pronouced they are, the may *soften* a character or make them *harsher* by appearance. With Mufonna, it gave her a softer and more innocent appearance. Whatever it does, it tends to help alter ones gut reaction about what kind of character they're looking at.
Hmm... You've given me pause on removing them, as I am a major fan of uniqueness in a sea of anime character re-creation and references.
Well, either way, she's keeping the eyeblack.
