Okay dude, you're completely right. The topic talks about how SEGA is going to handle the English server, then you and some people here starts talking trash about my country and i have to stay silent and bow down to you guys? This is why this game will crash and burn in the west if they don't change something. The RNG in this game is fucking outrageous.

You're doing it wrong. What about the items to increase success rate, lessen failure, or remove all risk of getting weaker?

I've gotten all of my gear to +10, and fairly easily too because I will use extra items to help me go from +8 to +10.

Wait till you get some 10* to grind, I wonder how many dozens of those protectors you will need to succeed

EDIT: It's also worth noting that risk protectors are only in the AC scratch (-1 protectors don't mean shit if the risk is at -3 lol) and they don't warrant you taking you to the next grind, they just stop you from rolling back when you fail.

My point being PSO2 will reach a lot of people because Sega fans will eat it up... and Sega fans are a rabid and scary fan base. Just search your name along with the word "sonic" in deviant art for a demonstration of this devotion.

Second- From what I've seen its a quality game. This denotes a number of things that give me more words than I care to muster so to be brief I'll just outline them. It has unique and engaging controls, It has a varied and colorful art style and the world(s) it portrays is deep and pulls you into what can best be described as the Phantasy Star atmosphere.

Go back to forest 1 in PSO for a variable comparison.

Just because it's Sega, doesn't mean that it will attract all Sega fans. A lot of the western Sega fans have either never heard of Phantasy Star, or they are actually Sonic fans(how the heck could anyone stand to play that game anyways).

Yep, free to play usually attracts lots of hackers and BRs(I'm not trying to smash BRs, but I have played enough of F2P games to know that they are usually going to end up being a pain to deal with/be around).

I'm from Brazil, and i agree that players of my country sometimes really are annoying, but as i said earlier stick to the players, there's really no need to talk about connections of Brazil or other shit like that.

First of I don't think anyone is aiming at the country intentionally.

Second off due to the long distance, the connection can be very poor(play a FPS with some Americans or people from another country, or a peer to peer game).

Third off. Have you ever played a game where a group of people from a particular nation setup shop on a server that isn't theirs, and then essentially claimed part of it as theirs? You might want to do some research into it. And I'm talking about they completely take it over, like if you aren't of their nation you get kicked from games. Not like they all congregate in Block 20 so that they all have a place to meet up.

So I'm seriously supposed to use protecty whatsits all along the way? Those things aren't cheap, and they don't make much of a difference. 5% and a -1 grind protection won't do much if you're still rolling badly enough.

You'll have to clarify. I feel like your essentially saying the Japanese are more tolerant than Brazilians, because your basically dealing with the same thing there. Only difference is, it is their server. Furthermore, you don't have to play with these said individuals so I fail to see the problem, or how this in fact makes it Ok to alienate a country. If they lay claim to specific "spot" on server, why don't you just let them? They'll congregate and interact with each other and with their limited connectivity. The problems you mentioned, will become nonexistent.
