Gonna post another character creation here, now that I completed her parts.

Say hello to エリムΩ:

エリムΩ is a name combination from two games I really liked. エリム is jp for Erim. Erim is the Sinistral Of Death in the video game series Lufia. The Ω just looked very cool to me when I first played Soul Calibur V. The final boss there is called PyrrhaΩ and so I combined it.
Erim was one of my favorite characters on PSU. I like how she looks and what she represents.

Even though I like the rule of cool that's in play, wouldn't it make more sense to write the name in English? Or Greek for that matter?

Yeah maybe, but I'm not much into Greek. And I had her name with her English name back on PSU. But I found the omega letter looked cool with the JP name and so I picked that one. Besides, I like japanese written names a lot anyway

in SCV the greek letters were to represent different versions of the same character.for example Patrokolos alpha, Pyrhha omega.

i think the omega is unnecessary/random so Erim or エリム　is enough.keep in mind when using a kana name that english players wont be able to read it and wont be able to identify you by name. so unless you plan to play with a lot of JP players like I do, maybe it's better to just use roman alphabet.

in regards to style, I prefer her PSU version.

i would suggest a darker skin tone and some kind of face mask if there is one available.
