Does .hack work alot like PSO?

Now, I know these are two completely different games, and one is "massively multiplayer" while ours is only 4 players, but don't they almost act the same?

I've heard reviews that say that .hack is a lot like PSO.. except for the whole fake online thing.

You know, they should make a .hack MMORPG, just a thought.

I would actually like that, and most likely play it. It sounds like a cool thought, with all those infinite fields and stuff and always new places to explore.

uhh.. id have to go with no. because its a fake kinda online. other games are real online.. and theres a big difference between npc's and real people.
