I'm making a character based around partisan and what-not. So I'm wonderm which is stronger, Hu/Fi, or Hu/Br? I'm currently at Hu 32, Fi, 20 and Br, 18.

Hu/Fi. Brave Stance is +44% damage when you're in front of the enemy, which is the case for 95% normal foes and all but ~2 bosses. Compared to that, Weak Stance is +43% damage if you manage to hit the weakpoint (not always easy or even possible), Normal Stance is +21% all the time.
But honestly? Both Fi/Hu and Br/Hu are easily superior. Hunter works much better as a sub than a main class. If you still want to main it then go for it, but just saying.
Erm no, HuBr is actually better than BrHu if you have a sufficient all-class katana (bio), because then you can also equip various HU weapons to fill in some of Br's gaps.
It also has more S-atk
BrHu is way better than HuBr because of Yasha, Darker Katana, Weather Katana(in a certain TA stage) etc... The whole point of HuBr was for oneshot AssBust with Geki, but now we have Trident Crusher, which is all class.
Also, you don't use any other HU weapons.
Anyway, this isn't what the topic is about.
Go for HuFi since you'll barely need to switch to Wise stance. But.
Yeah.
Erm, no. BrHu has superior katanas and the only gap you need to fill is partizan, which trident crusher covers. Way to go off-topic btw.
Edit: wow Niji ninjaing.

"So I'm wondering which is stronger, Hu/Fi, or Hu/Br?"
I don't see how making a statement about HuBr has absolutely nothing to do with this, even if it doesn't directly answer his question. By your logic, mentioning anything about BrHu is derailing the thread, even if it's an attempt to inform him of what's stronger.
It's not as if forums are super strict as to how you should reply in them anyway.
Yea, BrHu is better if you go for multiple/expensive katanas.
But what if he doesn't want to be a try-hard? Did ya think about that?
I'm just saying. o3o
