Would a lower-level Shifta/Deband overwrite a higher-level Shifta/Deband? Because I can already cast a high S/D, and If I get a mag that casts S/D, chances are the Mag's S/D will be weaker than mine.

Nope, the higher S/D will stay or overwrite over the weak one, even on Mags
Or at least that's what has happened to me
There are no overwrites of S/D/J/Z unless the tech overwriting is stronger.
How can you tell what level S/D/J/Z was casted?
I presume it's about a lv. 15 S/D, I'm not really sure...On 2003-12-21 06:35, CGoodness wrote:

Ok... but how can you TELL?On 2003-12-21 07:53, Zinger314 wrote:

probably how long it lasts?i dunno good idea people should test that have some one cast like shifta level 1-30 (of course ull need more than one person to do it not unless that person is a high level with only lvl 1 techs and has techs 1-30 with him) then someone gets a stopwatch and times how long each spell is.
You can never get an exact number unless you freakishly have your base ATP memorized, take off all your equipment, do some math, and figure out the % increase... then find the matching Shifta level on some chart that may not even exist. Best way to know is to ask the caster. Really.
You could compare the stat increases of the S/D to others. If you are referring to how to determine the S/D level of mag abilities, look around on this site. It's there.
why even care that much? figuring it out would just be wasting the time that it's on you. and if you're that curious the undisputed quickest way would just be to ask the caster.
