The Doody family – true faggot fanatics – are the family recently chosen in a nationwide search to find a family to represent Mr Brain’s Faggots. Rather than create a fictional family, Mr Brain’s search was for ‘real faces’ - an ordinary family who loves and eats faggots on a regular basis.

um... discussing the language and meaning of the word "faggot" is kinda the point of this thread.

as far as i can tell, the rules don't say you're not allowed to do that:

the topic does indicate the language barrier, and the word was not used in a hateful or descriminatory way.

remember: words aren't meanings, its how you use them. its Context Sensitive.

ex: "May I bum a fag?" in the UK would mean, "May I borrow a cigarette?", and not... something else...

There a shop not far from me thats called Super Fags.
theres a few other words that have other meanings as well some i can think that ive seen non this baodr and others are

Biscuit
mbbile
skirting board
Tip ( as in if your bins full take the rest of it to the tip)

I find it interesting how calling a French person a "Frog" is no big deal in Europe, while in Québec it is considered a racial slur.

it seems that when people were crossing "the pond" (another European term), people got offended more easily...
