DDR is made by Konami HAWAII, just an intresting side-note.On 2005-01-10 23:10, Ian-KunX wrote:
Oh, and no more DDR either!
I really do think it's intresting how other people are so obsessed with other cultures. *thinks of the white people trying to be black* Good times!
I once knew of a girl, I won't say her name but she gave my friend a blow job just because he was Asian. He said it sucked and he felt dirty. Then he kicked her out of the his apartment. mmmmm....yea I'm getting sidetracked. Yar!
ewww weasel. I think it's somewhat fascinating that Japanese culture is obsessed with america and america (well, some of america) is obsessed with Japan. I'm not sure what it is. Perhaps because our roots are so much different from each other? I dunno. I never was one of those super anime-japan-obsessed people. I still would love to visit Japan someday though.

Call me a safe bet. I'm betting I'm not.
I'm glad that you can forgive.
Only hoping as time goes, you can forget.
If that is an insult on RPing, I am prepared to defend such art to the death!=P
You would spend hours on end just doing that?On 2005-01-11 19:08, GreyPhantasm wrote:

Funny coming from a man that dislikes Fan Fictions. On 2005-01-11 19:08, GreyPhantasm wrote:

Fan fics are one step away from true writing, the highest art if-I-do-say-so-myself (gets mauled to death by piccilators).
I'm also pretty sure that the Japanese don't mind the idolatry, as long as they get some sweet cash out of it.
Indeed.On 2005-01-11 20:35, Solstis wrote:

Just think about how much DBZ by itself has made?!
...also factor in how much of that was made after the entire series ended!(and it reached all the 13 year olds in America years later)
I'm not one to talk though. I did know about the series ending back in 1997 ish and followed the cartoon, but still own like 7 DBZ t-shirts, countless toys, etc. I don't wear the shirts much anymore since I'm branded a super n00b/nerd by anyone who sees it. One person who I would never have expected to like the cartoon asked me where I got a shirt from though. That was cool.
I try to keep up with Japanese culture through news reports, (game)magazines, etc. It's not all that hard to do and I might know more than some average n00bie teen, but do not ever throw it in someone's face that I'm better than them for it. How sad is it that some people would?
[sarcasm]Since I'm part Japanese, is someone gonna look up to me now?![/sarcasm]
No way.

Talk to WC. He has a friend who wrote a crossover fic featuring, most notably, Sonic the Hedgehog and Resident Evil, along with several scat scenes along the way.On 2005-01-11 20:35, Solstis wrote:

He thought he was a genius. We didn't.
