Photon Sword's Just a Clever Way to Say Lightsaber

I mean, we all saw it. It sounds like a light saber, looks like one. The first saber type you start with has more in common with the Star Wars counterpart than most might think:

1. Numerous sabers are labeled as "Photon Swords" or "Sabers". Some might not know that Photons are the particles that make up light. so basically, they are saying "Lightsaber".

2. The hilt of the sabers looks almost identical to Luke's. This is easiest seen on the Double Saber.

3. All the Lightsaber colors are in PSO.

4. Certain weapons, not just sabers, but photon blades nonetheless, retract after attacking in a way like on Star Wars.

Any more similaritys anyone would like to point out would be appreciated.

there was really no point, i was just noticing, mainly that the fact is, george lucas doesn't care if his weapon and sound of it are being used. even if it is slightly changed.

LGT SBR = Phantasy Star. Muuuuu Yuji loved star wars. Even the city guards looked like storm troopers.

Muuuuu Yuji = Yuji Naka. It was the name he went by back then.

Sure they look like a lightsaber, but you have to remember two things.
One: You can't copyright.
Two: They can't slice up people even if they sound like it because then it would be a lot easier to get the animal weapons.

you see the light saber reference every where. gundam anyone? just expanding on a cool idea. while light sabers are still the coolest IMO, variations of it are now standard issue game/ sci-fi stuff.
