For those of you that were asking quite repeatedly but were never given an answer, probably because none of us knew it. YOU CAN REPLAY SCENES AND EVEN MISSIONS OF EPISODE 5.
It is just kinda odd how they went about it. Just click the drop down menu and choose the same option I have chosen and you can view all the Episode 5 story scenes you have seen. Each character seems to have their own dedicated Menu Heading, oddly enough. Seriously SEGA what was wrong with how you did it in Episodes 1-3?

That's Luther, for ya. Even in death, his legacy lives on in the people he's scarred and the worlds he's damaged i.e. Vopar, Corrupted ARKS Ships, etc.
Official site updated with a Characters page giving bios and data about EP5 characters. Apparently, we're in for another round of "going past the age of 20 is bad for you". Also, Stratos is 16.
Valna in particular is quite curious, because the website gives his full name as "Valna La Shiec". As I recall, "Lashiec" was the name of a villain in the original Phantasy Star. (They're spelled the same way, but Valna's name has a space in between the "La" and "Shiec".)
So now we have Alis, Lutz, and Valna La Shiec. Who's ready for more original tetraology theorycrafting?

Am I thr only one who's story is still in JP? Part of the first mission was translated but thats it.
Ra Shiec or La Shiec should be the correct spelling. AFAIK, Lassic or Lashiec is basically a typical translation fail of the day.
Original Alis : Lost princess of Algol based on backstory
New Alis: Current Princess of Cuent? (Also a newman now?)
Original Lutz: Esteemed Esper who joins Alis adventuring.
New Lutz: Alis' father, maybe adoptive if she isn't actually a newman. Sounds a bit like an asshole like the PSU version.
Original La Shiec: Something like a evil Prime Minister who deposed Alis' dad
New La Shiec: Slightly derpy soldier dude. Probably a candidate for a possession.

Omega is a mixed bag of chaos, the characters we know now in Omega are probably them having jumbled up/mixed up personality and origins that Omega intentionally screw it up. Or just PD screwing things up like a virus while Omega was trying to defragging whatever it is trying to defrag in the first place.
Dunno about Luther tho, since he was never really killed and got stuck in Double/PD, probably went into Omega when PD went there. Gettemhart and Melphonshiina probably got saved, was put into amnesia and got shoved into AR by Xion in the last minute before they got killed by Double. Xion is known to do something unexpected.
