ST posted today announcing that two quests will soon be up and online on PSOGC. Gallon's Treachery and Towards The Future are coming to PSOGC on Tuesday, Oct 14th. Unfortunately, both quests are old DC quests; they are still fun quests however. We'll have guides for both quests ASAP. We have an old DC working guide for Towards the Future which will be improved upon shortly.
Gallon's Treachery is an online quest playable for 2 - 4 people. In this quest, you will have to make a movie for Gallon.
Towards The Future is an online quest playable for 1 - 4 people. In this quest, you will have to kill as many enemies as you can within a given time. It is not known if you can attain the same items on PSOGC as you could in PSODC.
There will be a server maintenance on Tuesday,Oct 14th between 3pm and 7pm JP time to load the quests on the servers. Please end all online games before the scheduled maintenance and please do not connect to the servers during the maintenance.
No news about Halo Rappies or the Halloween quest which was released from Oct 17 - Nov 4th last year. Will there be Halo Rappies this year?
As posted by ST and as reported by Doomed2k, our beloved Rappy has a guest appearance in the new ST game, Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg. You can join the discussion in our forums.
ST also has a new Trilogy Banner which is now up on their main PSO site. I modified it a little just in case anyone wants it.
Also, more news on the CD Soundtrack that is included in the Japanese Nintendo Dream Magazine! It has 10 tracks and is 31 minutes long. Tracks 1-6 are from PSO Episode III C.A.R.D Revolution, tracks 7-9 are from PSO Episode 1&2 and track 10 is a bonus track from Billy Hatcher. The CD also comes with a sheet of Nintendo Game Cube memory card seals/stickers. An article in the magazine features several pages of PSO Episode II coverage. Thanks to Da_Jue for this information."
The lobbies were updated with a visual change last night. Autumn trees now fill the lobbies! Like the trees? Discuss it in our forums! But does this mean that Halo Rappies will soon appear? No official word from ST yet, but let's keep our fingers crossed.
ST posted today announcing that a Japanese Nintendo magazine, "NINTENDO Dream Vol 100" which will go on sale on Monday, October 6, in Japan will feature a CD containing new theme music from EP 3 titled "Let The Winds Blow." The CD will also contain theme music from EP 1&2 and Sega's new upcoming game "Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg."
Meanwhile, reservations for EP 3 full release has begun at SegaDirect. Those that did reserve their copies from Sega Direct will receive a pack of 10 randomly chosen free cards like the ones below.
In the last Tokyo Game Show, which just recently ended, Sega was giving out Rappy Feather balls in limited quantities to promote the upcoming release of EP 3. Cute, too bad we can't get it out here.
The Tokyo Game Show, however, proved to be a huge success for Sega and especially EP 3. There were special EP 3 playing booths for people to try the game out, each restricted to an 8 minute playing time.
Card parameters and stats were further adjusted based on the information gathered from the Trial and the Tokyo Game Show.
And finally, more views of the PSO Trilogy box.
