kalbelgarion writes, "According to GameSpot, "A one-year renewal or subscription fee has been set at $49.99 while the monthly subscription fee has been set at $5.99. Microsoft has also revealed that the voice communicator will sell separately for $29.99..."

This is good news for XBOX PSO players; There won't be a $18.95/month fee, as previously thought, to feed your addiction. Only $8.95/month for PSO, and $49.99/year for XBOX Live.
    "

I'd like to add that New Starter Kits (Disc, Communicator) will cost $69.99 and include a 12 month subscription.

Getintothegame writes that: "The link to go to the EU ships is back up. EU gamers have the link to US/JP ships again, too."

lollipoplolita writes, "The formerly only Japanese Minhiro Wesbite, which is ST's community and communication website for GC PSO has put up an English version of the site which you can access here.

This website features content such as PSO fan art illustrations, new information on upcoming events in the game, and featured screenshots from the game.

Remember to review the terms of use of the Minhiro site here. If you would like to submit screenshots or illustrations or information on your player events to the Minhiro site, please look here.

Now we no longer have to translate news from Japanese. And US and EU players can also be involved in the community along with the current JP players. Remember to bookmark the site!

lollipoplolita writes, "WhiteHawk writes: "Nintendo has put up new information about "Phantasy Star Online Episode III: C.A.R.D. Revolution" on their E3 Website." If the link doesn't work for you, copy and paste the link onto a new browser window.

As Nintendo gears up for the 2003 Electronic Entertainment Expo, E3, in Los Angeles, more and more information is released about the game. The Phantasy Star Online Episode III webpage says:

"The Nintendo GameCube-exclusive Phantasy Star Online Episode III: C.A.R.D. Revolution expands the Phantasy Star Online universe by offering a new style of strategic combat. Players must once again become Hunters and explore the mysteries of the planet Ragol. Featuring both online and offline play, as well as multiplayer modes, PSO Episode III brings many new offerings to the ever-growing PSO community."

If you pay close attention to the upper left corner of the left screenshot, you can see that it says that Phantasy Star Online Episode III: C.A.R.D. Revolution is only for Gamecube. Interesting... What do you guys think of the logo design?

lollipoplolita writes, "Sonic Team posted today that the JP GC Ver 1.0 ships 5 and 6 will be closing down starting Thursday May 15 at 1 pm JP time. ST states that this is done to increase efficiency for Ver 1.0 servers since ships 5 and 6 are unpopulated. From May 15 onwards, please use another ship in place of ships 5 and 6."

lollipoplolita writes, "The Ragol Ring guide for Seat of the Heart is now confirmed for all servers. Follow the guide closely. There is also a warning for Ragol Ring: "If you wear the Ragol Ring and die, you willl get revived but the Ragol Ring wil destroy itself". As such, if you have the Ragol Ring in your inventory when you die, it will act like a Scape Doll and disappear. Be careful with it as you can only get 1 Ragol Ring per character per difficulty. Stats and pictures of the Ring is posted in the database. The discussion is still going on in the forums here.Have fun and enjoy!"

lollipoplolita writes, "Phantasy Star Online Episode III: C.A.R.D. Revolution is set to go on sale in Japan in Fall 2003 according to zdnet.co.jp. The price is still currently unknown. What do you guys think of it so far?

We're still working on the Seat of the Heart quest guide. Most of it is complete but we're pinning down the exact requirements and details of how you go about getting the Ragol Ring. You can see our guide, complete with maps, and quest details, here. This Sue and Bernie offline quest plot guide might also be useful. We are also compiling rare drop information for the new enemies in the quest. Old enemies are dropping the same thing as before. So far, the two new items to PSO that can only be found in this quest are Ragol Ring and Demonic Fork. Join in the discussion in our forums here.

    Update:
I added the steps to get Ragol Ring to the Seat of the Heart guide. This method has been confirmed for JP V1.1 and PAL playing on JP servers on English Language Setting.

    Update 2:
Method confirmed for US on US servers and US on JP servers. Enjoy!

lollipoplolita writes, "The new much anticipated quest "Seat of the Heart" is up and available. The quest falls under the VR quests and is available for one player only the servers. It will take some time to load the quest as it is a big file. Do your best to protect Elly and don't let her die.

You need to beat EP 2 CCA level and boss offline before you can play the quest online. You will not be permitted to play the quest online otherwise. The difficulty level for this quest is proving to be really high. Keeping Elly alive is proving to be a challenge. We have compiled a guide for this quest complete with maps, please refer to this guide for more details and the walkthrough.

VulpesMundi reports that there are many enviromental traps new and exclusive to this new quest. There are pillars or lights, fiery of explosions, luminous trails and different forms of lightning (one shocks, and one freezes). This all adds to the difficulty of the quest. Ash, Bernie, Madeleine, Beiron, Racton, Type:V, Barb, Calus, Propp, Django, Oslo, Cap, Marvel, Sue and Elly are among the many NPC's present in this quest.

Want some pics of the new enemies? Epsilon, Del Lily, and Ill Gill? Then check em out here. Did we get you excited? Need to vent about how hard the quest is? Join our other posters here.

You can see more pictures of the quest in our screenshots section here.

lollipoplolita writes, "The new quest will start on April 30th, as previously stated. The new quest is confirmed to be an online quest and only for 1 person. There will be a server maintenance on Wednesday, April 30th, from 3pm til 5 pm JP time. Please do not connect during this time and please all games before the scheduled maintenance time. You can read ST's news post here.

Remember that at the same time, the Easter Lobby decorations will come off and the Egg Rappies will no longer appear.

Remember that this quest is going to be a difficult quest, and since you would be playing alone, we recommend that you are a high level to do this and able to beat Episode 2 and Gal Gryphon alone easily before attempting this quest. This is going to be a big exciting addition to the Gamecube Quest line up. The quest should be available by midnight Pacific time. Who's staying up tonight for this one?

Face it folks, this is not new. This is in fact very old news, which is why we haven't made a recent news post about it. We've known that PSOX has been hacked and "hackable" for months. It's very well known that PSOX has been hacked since it's JP release which was months ago. Our admin, LollipopLolita was on PSOX JP online, witnessed hacking and she has already disclosed and covered this topic many times in our forums. So please don't post "NEWS: PSOX Hacked" topics for the twentieth time because it's old news. If you want to sound off on this topic please participate here.

In other news: Go Beer! And at the time of this posting, 185 people enjoy looking up FOnewearl's skirts. Sick!
