    IGN posted this interesting news:

    "Big Phantasy Star News Shortly
You will be shocked, according to Dorimaga

April 07, 2004 - Perhaps the biggest news out of the latest issue of Japan's Dorimaga involves a preview of what's to come in the next issue of the magazine. The magazine promises a new development in the world of Phantasy Star Online that will shock you.

We admit to being totally clueless on what's up, so we'll have to wait, just like you, for further details. The next Dorimaga isn't due out for a month, but it's possible that some other magazine will reveal the big news earlier."

Could it just be PSOBB news, since there hasn't been any in the US nor in JP game magazines?

Getintothegame writes, "First off, I think the entire PSO community needs to know about this:

Have you taken a snapshot with PSO yet? Want to upload it or save it on your computer, but PSO Proxy doesn't support PSO3? Well, now, thanks to http://pso.donut.dhs.org/ , you can now get the image sent to you using their site! Since PSO US didn't have a BBS, you can just use this now.

I made a little guide for everyone:

    1. Start up PSO (Episode 1, 2, or 3)
    2. Go to the "Website"
    3. Go to settings
    4. Get to the Proxy Configuration
    5. Enter these settings:
      Server address: pso.donut.dhs.org
      Port number: 8080
    6. Save and connect to the internet 6. Enter E-mail addy (and change the subject if you want)
    7. Press the "Send Image" button.
    8. Press Yes, and Yes again.
    9. You will recieve the image in your E-mail soon.

It is a little slow, but it works. I got this image sent back to me with no problem:

This also works for Dreamcast, too. Put in your DC browser and go to the website.

Alright, Thank you pso.donut.dhs.org, for saving us AGAIN! "

ST made a newspost concerning several things. For Ep 3, US /B ships for US serves have been added. As some of you might know, a /B ship gives you more EXP. You can also lose more EXP, too. /B ships however do not change the amount of meseta you win. Please note that /B ships are for Ep 3 only. The 2 Dengeki/ST 2 player event JP quests, "Sega Appreciation" and "Dengeki Appreciation" are also up and online. Remember that you can get theGi Gue and Right Heavy Punch cards from these quests. These quests will be available until Tuesday, March 16th, JP time. US players can do these quests as well if they use japanese as their language setting. However both the quests are exactly the same as the first one except for the different card awards. This quest can be done over again to get multiple copies of the two cards.

On the Ep 1 & 2 front, the White Day Event and Principal's Gift quests are up! These quests will also be available until Tuesday, March 16th, JP time. The lobbies also now have White Day decorations up. Discuss all this in our forums. Happy White Day everyone.

ST posted announcing that the server maintenance ended and the new online VR 1 player JP only quest, "Memory of the Green Star" for GC Ep 1 & 2 is now up. This quest is takes place in VR Temple and will have 3 parts/stages to the quest: Rush, Labyrinth and Darkness. You will also have to defeat Barba Ray and Gol Dragon if you get 3 A ranks. You are timed in this quest and you will be ranked accordingly. In addition to that, depending on how you complete this quest you will get a key item. With this key item, you will then be able to download "Anticipation of the Future," or "Bullet of Future Assassin, " both are 1 player offline quests for Ep 3. Check our earlier news post for storyline. LeRoy_G reports that in the Ep 3 download quest, "Anticipation of the Future," you fight Break and Orland and you have to kill both opponents. Upon victory, you will get the Richie card. If you play the Ep 3 download quest "Bullet of Future Assassin," you will fight Kireek and upon victory, you will get the Cipher card. Discuss this in our forums. Here's a further guide for Memory of the Green Star.

    lollipoplolita writes, "

As some of you might know by now, there was a little problem or issue today with PSO's game clock because of the leap year, changing from February 29 to March 1st. This affects both your online and offline game modes for Ep 1 & 2, Ep 1 & 2 Plus, Ep 1 & 2 v1.1. and Ep 3. You might have been affected if you were playing online during or before the date change or if you were playing offline during the date change. There was however a server maintenance/down time for all GC servers in the US to help avoid this issue and further complications. For those of you who do need to fix your time display read the following ST news posting or do these simple steps:

    1. Set your game clock/time and date to 28 February, 2006, 23:55
    2. Start the game in offline mode. Select character with problem. Wait in Pioneer 2 on Ep 1 & 2 or the morgue in Ep 3
    3. When it turns to March 1st, 2006, your game time display will turn to normal time
    4. Verify that the time display is now normal and save the game and end your session
    5. Go back and change the game clock/time and date back to the present actual time

Please keep in mind that you have to change your game clock back to the proper time and date or you will not be able to connect to the servers for online play. Also keep in mind to do this only once and only with the character that experiences the problem.

If you need instructions on how to change the clock, please refer to your manual.

    Good luck and be careful!"
