Clumsyorchid has confirmed on the psobb.com forum that several major changes are planned for Episode 4. The drop rates for rare items and technique resistances will be lowered. This means that you'll have more opportunities to find rare weapons and techniques will actually do noticeable damage now. Also, the statistics for enemies in Episode 4 have been rebalanced and the rate at which enemies drop items (the drop-anything rate) will vary depending on the difficulty. It is expected that these changes will be made available very soon. Beyond that, several Episode 4 quests are currently being tested and will be uploaded as soon as they are ready.

Earlier today, it was announced that the North American/European Blue Burst servers are currently being updated with two new quests. The first one is an Episode I female-only quest - probably related to Valentine's Day. The other quest is Dream Messenger. You'll be able to play it by selecting it from the Event section at the Hunters Guild. Gallon's Shop is also being updated for the Valentine's Day Event. Speaking of Valentines Day, the lobbies have been updated too! The lobby decorations will remain up until February 14. However, the quests will continue until February 23. Finally, the server software is being updated to fix a number of issues. These include blocks crashing due to illegal parameters, quest bugs, and client termination issues. ClumsyOrchid noted that some connection issues may arise as the reslt of the server update.

The US/EU Blue Burst servers were updated today. First, Phantasmal World 3 & 4 were added. These are Episode Annihilation quests that feature a large number of enemies. You will need to be a high-level player if you want to live through these quests! If you have any questions about these quests, please post in our forums. Additionally, Episode 2 Challenge Mode was released today. Prove your mettle and you will walk away with a S-Rank prize. If these difficult stages prove to be too hard, be sure to check out our Episode 2 Challenge Mode guides or ask in our Challenge Mode forums. The Pioneer Christmas quest is now available from One Person Episode II games. Probably the best thing to come out of this update is that all Blue Burst players will receive Double Experience from enemies. You'll need to play a quest to take advantage of this change. Please keep in mind that the Double Experience bonus will only be available for one week!

quo writes, "The Christmas decorations are now up, and Saint Rappies have replaced the Hallo rappies on the US BB servers.

Remember that Saint Rappies drop different mag cells than what the Hallo Rappies did. From the mag cells the Saint Rappies provide, you'll be able to make a Sega Console Mag, Panzer Tail, Angel Wings, Devil Wings, or Davil Tail.

Earlier today, the East and West Tower quests were uploaded for the US/EU version of Blue Burst. If you've never had the opportunity to play these quests before, you will be able to see new enemies and rare weapons! Be careful since the stage is filled with mini-bosses. If you need help with these quests, be sure to consult our guides for East Tower and West Tower. Also, you will be able to add percentages to normal weapons and specials to your S-Ranks in Gallon's Shop. If you have any questions, please post them in our forum.

Additionally, the following bug fixes were made:
-The Reach for the Dream quest has been fixed. The quest now accepts keyboard input and is finish-able.
-The crash in Lab Quest 5.4 will no longer crash after replaying the quest.

NOTE: There appears to be some problems with additng percentages to weapons right now. If you have any items that you would like to add percentages to, it maybe best to wait until the problem has been resolved.
