Once you clear this quest, you will get materials and grinders as a reward.

The objective is to collect the proper chip and then ultimately, to destroy the computer in Mines 1.

The location of the chip you need to get depends on the color of the team leader's pb gauge jewel or the color of the team leader's arrow color on the map. If your team leader's color is yellow, then the chip will appear in Caves 2. If your team lader's color is red, then the chip will appear in Caves 1. If your team leader's color is green or blue, then the chip will appear in Mines 1. So first check your team leader's color and then check the location of the chip in the maps below.

Make sure to talk to worker A in Caves 3, she will tell you to find the chip. Otherwise, the chip will not appear.

If you have the chip, there are two things you can do (refer to flowchart).
A: give it to worker A in Caves 3 and get Grinder.
B: give it to Doctor Montague on Pioneer 2 and convert enemy parts. (Dreamcast Only)

You will shrink in size in this quest and you will need to be tiny to pass some of the obstacles that you will encounter. When you are tiny, you are not able to use techniques.You will move at about half speed and movement is difficult, for this reason, have one member of your party be at the original size. You will not be able to activate any computer terminals or any ID switches.

Flowchart:

Procedure for converting enemy parts with attributes (Dreamcast Only)

1. Speak to the Doctor on Pioneer 2 by the check area
2. Speak to research worker A in Caves 3
3. Receive chip
4. Take chip to the Doctor

Note: you will have to clear all offline quests to convert enemy parts in this online quest

If you play alone you will get rewarded with a present from the Client. "Material."

Go to the "Next Level" teleporter in the left side of the screen.

Shrink down in Caves 3, return and go through the rest of Caves 2.

* Make sure that the microchip color corresponds to your PB color or the color of your team leader arrow on the game map.

Go to the resizing machines and shrink down so you have access to the other parts of the map. (You need to be tiny to pass through the barriers denoted by yellow barriers on the map).

Talk to worker A. She will request that you find the lost chip.

Now find the chip.

(To meet worker marked B, you will have to take "Next Level" teleporter marked B in Caves 2 map above, same with worker A).

If you destroy the computer terminals that is colored golden in the map in the specific order marked by numbers (eg, terminal 1, 2 ,3 and then 4), the door to the treasure room will open. There are 6 computers and 6 tubes. 4 of the computers need to be destroyed and the tubes behind them. That way you don't need to be caught by any unnecessary traps. First the computer then the tube behind it. The map in the guide works for the setting here below:

1, 3, 4 and 5 is the right ones to destroy. On all difficulties. Atleast on GC.

Destroy golden colored computer terminal numbered 5. There will be megid traps before the computer, so watch out for those.
