carolsdegga's Indepth Forces Guide To Episode 1 Bosses
NOTE: This guide is mainly revolved around a FO that melees to conserve the use of fluids, but it should work for a normal FO too. Some rare weapons will be mentioned. If you don’t have it try to use something similar to it.
Episode 1 Bosses
Dragon

First before you go into the warp to the boss make sure you have a rifle equipped (Holy Ray or Bringer’s Rifle, if you don’t have one equip some kind of long ranged gun like a handgun type weapon). After you go in the warp and when you can move again make sure you shoot the dragon from long range (which is why rifle is the best choice over mechgun). DO NOT use a mechgun because if you get too close and your still shooting when the dragon falls it will fall on you and damage you a lot, especially if you’re a FO, low DEF and low HP. So after it falls you rush over to its head and attack with you double saber (depending on how much TP you have you might want to first use its geist ability to drain and fill up your TP bar, which should fill it up to max when you attack the dragon’s head). When the dragon is getting up stop attacking its head. Equip any kind of MST rising, preferably ice, and get to the side of foot of the dragon. When it’s done roaring and you can attack, immediately attack with Gibarta or Rabarta rapidly. If it doesn’t die keep on using those to tech while it’s midair and it should die. If it doesn’t and burrows when it comes out attack it with those techs again and it will die.

Dragon Multi Player
A much easier boss to deal with now. When you first start facing the dragon. Cast foie on it. Most likely it will be aimed at his head. Don’t use barta yet because the auto aim will make barta go all over the place. In the meantime it should be shot down by your teammates. Rush up with melee weapon and keep hitting his head with you team mates. When it gets up run to its side and cast gibarta or rabarta like before. With help from you teammates it should die before it takes flight or gets shot down by techs/guns.
Sil Dragon

Pretty much the same as the old dragon except this time you have high ATA go ahead and attack with a mechgun (because it moves faster, the 3 combo rifle will miss a lot). If you don’t have much ATA use Rafoie to take it down. After it’s down same thing with the double saber. But this time DO NOT use barta techs when it takes air. Instead use Rafoie or Grants and it should be powerful enough to take it down. When it starts burrowing and it begins to move in a circle avoid the first big circle, wait for second, after second time RUN to the side and there is no way his spinning burrow can hit you. If it is still not dead, attack with Rafoie again when it’s done burrowing.

De Rol Le

In my opinion the fastest boss to kill with the force. So first before you go into the warp equip yourself with a rod/cane/wand that can boost you MST. Go into the warp and you should spawn in a diamond shaped position. Immediately before it show de rol le move to the right side of the raft. Then after the short FMV of de rol le. (at this point you should be facing de rol le on the right side of the raft). Immediately start attacking it with Rafoie and it should swim to the head of the raft and unleash 5 spikes to the corner. At that point stop using Rafoie and use Gizonde to first destroy the spike. After you destroyed the spikes move to one corner of the raft and start using Rafoie and it will use the purple ray attack (if you standing at the right place in the corner you should be able to dodge it). Then it will jump up onto the raft with its head. Now stop using Rafoie equip your double saber and start hacking its head if you want your TP filled. But if you know your going to level up or has already refilled your TP start using a the soul banish or any weapon that can hit on more then one place and attack its side that is lagging out into the water. And you should be able to hit 4 parts of his body. Keep at it. Depends on your difficulty level try avoiding its tentacles after you do one set of combos (3 with muti-hit weapon and 6 with double saber). After that hitting with double saber or muti-hit weapon it should die. If it doesn’t repeat the process with Rafoie until it dies.

De Rol Le Multiplayer
Mostly same as one player except DON’T kill the it when one player never get a chance to hit it. From my experience if one HU is gun-less (rarely). And the FO/RA kill it while the HU never got a chance to hit it they will get angry so avoid that, we want everyone to get exp. Or if you don’t most likely the person will get very pissed off at you.
Da Ra Lie
Pretty much the same except first it will shoot the purple rays and it’s almost inevitable. Again use Rafoie. When it gets on the raft DO NOT attack it with a muti-hit weapon or double saber because you won’t have enough time before it uses its tentacles. So cast Gifoie while running around to avoid tentacles. Repeat this step and the rest is same with De Rol Le. If the place gets dark and it starts to fire the purple laser stream at you, you are in deep trouble. It is fast and powerful so get ready scape dolls and run!
Da Ra Lie Multiplayer
Couple new notes with multi-player. Start healing your teammates really good. Because Da Ra Lie will do quite a bit of damage with the purple rays. Most of everything is the same, like the rafoie and gizonde part. When it gets on the raft and you are not the person that is targeted you can get out double saber and start replenishing TP. But if you are targeted cast gifoie as usual but keep running!
Vol Opt
A little bit hard with force but you should manage. First off equip a weapon that will increase your lightning techs. When you start attack the screens with Gizonde not Rafoie, because Rafoie casts slower then Gizonde. And if you start panicking and can’t find where the screen is face the center and zap the middle device hanging on the ceiling. Even though it does zero damage but it will bounce off and hit the correct screen. When the totems appears and if you can’t find it use the same tactics hit the totem hanging on the ceiling and it will bounce off and hit multiple totems and it should save you from a Gizonde attack (make sure you bring a lot of sol atomizers because if you get shocked anti doesn’t work!). If you have low level gizonde don’t bother to use it, instead use foie or else if you gizonde isn’t powerful enough the gizonde from vol opt can most likely kill you in one hit or get you down to almost dead, then when you looking for your sol atomizer there comes another zap and your dead. So be extremely careful or have a lot of HP. After the first phase is destroyed once the second phase comes on equip double saber and replenish your TP, after it’s all replenished you can use Zonde or keep on attacking with your double saber. Just make sure to run away from all its attacks. Try to destroy his body parts in this order: Missile launcher, laser trap, Pillars, and Healing. Keep on attacking him with you double saber/zonde and avoid his attack and you should win pretty quickly.
Vol Opt Multiplayer
This will be much easier for a FO but still keep your guard up. At the start break the middle antenna with foie or barta. When the screen starts to turn red, gizonde it (you should have time to find it since your teammates should be attacking it too to buy you some time to gizonde it). When the totems come out hit it with foie, this time do not use gizonde because it don’t have anything to bounce off of other then the other totem. So foie it to do more damage with your teammates. Still keeps some sol atomizers ready. Incase you get zapped and get shocked, use a sol and immediately anti your teammates. Repeat until 2nd form comes out. When the second form comes out it should be a breeze. Again replenish TP with double saber. And then just melee with any normal twin saber hit. Your teammates should be doing a lot of damage too. So no techs are required.

Vol Opt Ver 2
Very difficult with force if you’re alone and you should bring a lot of sol atomizers and sometimes some mates just incase you don’t cure yourself fast enough. Same as before, Gizonde the screens but you have to have high MST and try to destroy one screen with three Gizonde (try to have lv. 25+ gizonde). When the totems come out get to a place, preferably side, of the red totem and cast Zonde techs. This way you should be able to dodge Gibarta Vol Opt use on you. Repeat this and keep on healing. When you get to the second phase do the same thing as before except if the laser ball catches you you’re a goner, so make sure you destroy that or the annoying missile launcher first. And don’t bother to run away from the random pillars because your chance of getting hit is all the same, so you should spend those time dealing more damage to it.

Vol Opt Ver 2 Multiplayer
A pain relieved. This should be quite easy. 1st form is same as before but this time keep on gizonde-ing the screens to buy time for you teammates to shoot it or melee it. When the totems come out hide in same place as before and cast foie (should be at high level). The chance of your teammate and you being hit is really high so get ready to cast anti/resta/reverser. Keep on using gizonde and foie for different parts and let your teammates take care of rest; eventually you should reach 2nd form. Same bases, just attack with normal double saber to steal your TP back and then just use heavy attack from double saber and again your teammates will take care of the rest. Same thing with avoiding him too.
Dark Falz
Not as difficult for a force as Vol Opt would be. But you still need to work hard to win. So first equip a weapon that raise MST again and take the warp and walk to the pillar, then you know the screen changes and darvants comes out. You should spawn in a square position and once you spawned walk back to the side and kill darvants there. Because when you kill all the darvants and you in the back of the pillar when dark falz comes out he will lock you on the side between two of his sides and casts techs on you, then you will be pretty much dead. So after you kill all the darvants (cast gifoie and run around dodging the darvants) dark falz’s first form appears. Get up to his middle head and attack with double saber fast, once the darvants that come out of his mouth is out stand back and use zonde (DO NOT use gizonde of razonde because it’s waste of TP and it won’t bounce off anything except for the darvants, which does zero damage to them). Keep on using that and keep on healing yourself when it uses rabarta, rafoie, or heaven punishment. When you reach second form, cast barta from far away and DO NOT line up with falz. Because then if it casts rabarta or rafoie you will be hit on the line for sure. So keep on casting barta and cast anti when it slows you. If it uses heavens punishment and your level is low and have low HP you might die, so bring a few scape dolls just in case. Keep on casting barta and the only attack that could hurt you would be heaven punishment. For hard and vhard there is the third form which could be a nuisance for forces. As you know when you spawn you will spawn facing falz (if your playing online and you have RED marker you’re facing falz). >From my experience is that if you spawn facing falz there is no way to avoid its slash attack, so prepare a scape doll (what I usually do with a FO is to attack it with grants/foie once you get spawn, since you can’t avoid it deal as much damage as possible and get revived when it kills you with a slash). So when it’s at normal mode on the side of the internal side of the light ring, it will move 1/3 way of the circle (meaning if it’s at 12’o clock it will move to 4’o clock or 8’o clock) but watch out sometimes it only move a little bit like 1/20 of the circle but movement pattern is same as before. So time your self and when it turns get near it and use your twin saber to attack. If it happens to go the other way use foie (I personally do not like grants because it takes TP too fast casts slow and does around same damage as a normal foie would). When it takes air dodging the energy balls should be easy but you MUST have enough HP to survive the grants or it is pointless fighting falz. Because if you fighting falz with a FO alone it will be long and you must have patience. When it uses the attack to put your image in its mouth foie it and heal or you can foie twice and heal depending on your HP. So repeat all those steps until he dies.

Dark Falz Multiplayer
With help from teammates this boss should be considerably easy. When darvants come out cast gifoie as usual and move backward from the position you spawned. Make sure to heal your teammates because they have to get in close to attack a darvant, like a HU. So when dark falz get into 1st form, attack from far away with regular zoned. DO NOT attack with any kind of melee weapon because your teammates will take care of that, just regular zoned, because gi and razonde does around the same amount and they cause way more TP and doesn’t do any damage to the darvants that comes out of the mouth or bounce off of the heads. Second form is same as before just attack from the side with barta and heal your teammates. Last form is same again, just foie falz all the time, the only time where you might want to start meleeing is when he gets very close to you so that you only have to move a bit to start meleeing with a twin saber. Or else just use foie continuously and you allies will take care of the rest.

TIP: When falz does the attack where he puts a player into his mouth and all damage inflicted on him is inflicted on a player. If you want ss rank you can’t have single death. So your other teammates might just rush up and attack and then revive the guy that died. So tell your teammates to STOP, and what you can do is cast foie as before and then heal. This should be able to deal damage and save someone from a death.

Dark Falz Ultimate
Practically same thing, but couple new rules. First form is the same but when you get to second form, it moves very fast and normally moves 180 degrees to one side and will attack you from behind. So get out of its way and get to the side again to cast your barta, after falz attacks with rafoie or rabarta five to six darvants will come out to attack you. What you have to do is RUN and try not to let it catch you, if you got frozen by a rabarta then you’re a goner for good, even if you try to break out of freeze by tapping left right on control stick you still won’t have enough time so BE CAREFUL, keep in mind that you’re a FO, again you have low HP and DEF. Once you get to last form the attacks are same except when it uses energy balls run away fast! The energy balls will bounce so you have to run alone side close to falz. After it takes your image in its mouth and takes air, then start running again because it will cast megid and YOU WILL DIE if it hits you. So watch out for those attacks and have some patience, but if you a FO and you have no patience there no way you can win but otherwise ult falz should be a cinch.
Dark Falz Ultimate Multiplayer

This could just be very painful if not done right. Everything is actually the same as before exscept for when you get to the last form. It has a very powerful blade attack and grants. So if you can’t live against grants don’t bother playing because you will be in for a long battle. When falz start to slash at you make sure you stand apart and at where you spawn and try not to move so far. It might take you down with its blade attack, so closest person go and revive. Doesn’t have to be a FO. You stand like this because it is most efficient way to kill falz considering he will move all over the place, and who ever is closest should attack (unless someone has a gun) Then we he takes air and uses those blue energy balls, then you can run (use same tactics as before for evading). But after he casts grants, heal and then return to your post. When he starts taking people’s image to his mouth form into 2 groups of 2 (make sure a android is pair with human or someone that can use healing techs) if there is for people, or a group or 3 or 2. Then whichever person he takes the other person attacks the person being hurt should heal himself/herself. Unless they are an android then the attack person should heal. This should be very efficient no matter where he moves. Keep doing this and he should be dead, but expect no easy match, it will be long.
