This deck will help you beat Pollux, without taking almost any damage, then
go on to beat Amplum Umbla with ease as well.
- When fighting Pollux, dump your hand if you don't pull at least one Plantain
Leaf. On your first turn, equip nothing, as Pollux will likely destroy it, just
take a step or two forward. After that equip at least one Plantain Leaf, then
hit her.
Even if she completely blocks the attack, it will lower her AP by 3 for two turns.
Your goal after this is to equip a second Plantain Leafs, and a Dragon Slayer
or a Twin Psychogun. Attacking with two Plantain Leafs will lower her AP by 6
for two turns, so that REALLY puts a dent in her Ultimate AP Growth. The Dragon
Slayer will do 7 damage, or the Twin Psychoguns will do 9 damage since Pollux
is a Dark type, and they're both Dark Slayers. The Penetrate Guard's are there
just incase the battle lasts a while, they'll be able to completely block her
Timed Pierce attacks.
- When fighting Amplum Umbla, use the same strategy of Plantain Leaf x2 and
Dragon Slayer or Twin Psychoguns... Or if you can't draw those, two Last Survivors.
The Plantain Leaf's will lower Amplum Umbla's normal 4 damage rampage attack to
0.
With a Last Survivor out, it'll be hard to destroy because of it's Full Heal
(you only have to place one Guard or Seal defense card to keep it alive, and they
only cost 1 point to play) This way you can keep Amplum at 0 or 1 AP when it attacks
normally, and it's Meteor attack won't do any damage to your items (Plantain Leaf
has 1HP, and Last Survivor has Full Heal,
So even if he uses Meteor to lower all Items to 1HP, they both survive with
the same amount of HP as before the attack) At this point, just keep hacking away
at him, you'll win in no time.
