Quest: From The Depths
Description: "An earthquake occured on Ragol. The research team that was underground has disappeared."
Client: Irene, secretary
Award: 3500 Mesetas
Prerequisites: Clear Doc's Secret Plan

Take the teleporter down to Ruins 2. Upon entering the first room, a earthquake will occur followed by a cutscene. Head straight (South) until you reach a room with Claws.

Eliminate the Claws and Dimenians, and head left. (East.) This sets off another cut-scene. Continue straight until you find the NPC's from the cutscene. They'll dissapear, and the door in front of you will open. Go on and you'll reach a HUmar and a RAmar. Talk to the Humar and they'll disappear, replaced by three waves of Enemies.Defeat them and move on to another large room with a couple waves of enemies. Kill them, and head to the only open door to a room full of dimenians. Killing them opens the doors, head left (west) and you'll run into a confused FOmarl. Keep talking to her, and eventually an earthquake will occur. She'll immediately start attacking you so take her out, and the 3 waves of enemies. After you beat them, she'll dissapear. Continue straight(west, defeat the claws and take the left door in the fork in the road. (Which heads East) You'll see puffs of smoke on the ground, and if you continue in the hallway, another earthquake occurs. Go into the empty room, and head left (north) again for another earthquake. Two delsabers are waiting for you when you enter so be careful if you're at a lower level. Defeat all waves of enemies, and go left (and north) once more. There are a few traps here, and a few overhead traps. Head to the door going north, and an earthquake will occur. Defeat a lone Chaos Bringer and head to Ruins 3.

Soon after enering Ruins 3, you'll find Ash from the earlier quest Battle Training. Head towards him, and a earthquake will occur followed by two waves of enemies. Defeat them and Ash will join you. Head south, and beat a Chaos Bringer. Continue south to a room with 4 doorways and a computer. Head left (North western most doorway) and take the warp. (Refered to herafter as warp a.) Take care that Ash doesn't die as you take out a couple waves of enemies in the next room. Continue onward, and beat a couple more eaves of enemies. Hit the switch here, go on opening the door, and head back to the room with the Computer in it. Now take the South-eastern most door, and take out the three waves of enemies. Head right to the open door, and hit the 4 switches on the ground, taking care of the poison enemies, and overhead traps on each one. Continue to a long hall full of enemies with a Dark Belra at the end. Defeat them and move on to an empty room with a view of another Warp. (Reffered to hereafter as Warp B) Move on to a large room with one way blocked off, so head right (west) into a darkened room. Use the overhead map to make your way through, hit the red switch on the ground if you want light, if not, hit the green switch and walk ALL the way back to the room with the computer in it. (along the way you'll notice the barrier around Warp b has dropped.) Now take of the of doors in the South-west corner (Doesn't matter which, both lead to the same thing.) and take Warp B. The next room is the hardest in the level, but only becuase you have to fight in the dark and enemies soon surroound you. If you have trouble, quickly turn left, destroy some boxes to get to the light switch on the ground. Kill the enemies here, and hit the Red switch. Head through the door opened, hit the switches to get to the next room, and use this room as a shortcut to get to the Computer room. Now you can head to the North western most door, clear the room of the four Gunners, and head to the last warp. (Warp C.) Take the warp, and an earthquake will occur followed by a short cut-scene. Talk to either computer, and that will end the earthquakes. Walk back into the warp, and continue walking through the room until ASH stops you. Ash will then leave, so telepipe back to Pioneer 2. Back in the Hunter's Guild talk to the secretary that gave you the quest to finish it.
