nice, but only your parents arrive? you should try out some of the restaurants here. most of the Vietnamese food are great. you know...like our daily PHO, com tam, ban xeo. heck, even those Dim Sums that sold in the Vietnamese supermarket (Saigon City Market) tastes really good.
my parents actually flew to visit little saigon 2 months ago they say there are all kind of viet-named markets there

yeah. Tet is much more lively over here if you go to the festival. i usually dont go though because it's crazily crowded and finding a parking space is annoying. during Tet, i normally just go and visit my uncle and aunts and cousins. the food are uber though! Pho is the best! you should try going to LA and party, dood! :3
it's very nice to meet another person that speak the same langauge as i, eh Dhy? the area where i'm at in California have lots and lots of Viet people. just today, when i was going home, they were participating in the Tet event. i got home 30 min. late thanks to the traffic jam causes by that event. the place is also call "Little Saigon" so i think you might know where i'm talking about in Southern California, probably. :3
"chut mung nam moi!" :3 *gives red enevelop & banh te't (banana flavor rice cake)* NOTE: while i do speak their langauge, i cant write well. and you really surprise me there with the "Happy New Year" in Vietnamese. :P
