That 8 hours was with a Japanese Pokemon...
In Diamond & Pearl onwards, if you breed two Pokémon from different language games, the chances of them being Shiny is reduced to 1 in 2,048, reduced to 1,366 in Black & White. ;D So get yourself a Japanese Eevee and let the breeding continue! XD
I spent 8 hours strait breeding them once, but not a single shiny hatched ;-;
Oh nice~ I'd love a Shiny Eevee! If I had one, it would make my one friend SOOOOO jealous! XD But yeah, really hard to get! Not impossible, but really hard lol. Best of luck getting one. X3
Also, the reason my profile picture is a Shiny Eevee is because it's the only Pokémon i want Atm. xD
