I was talking with some fellow members from Hotglue (The /jp/ community group not the Cosmic break clan). We've been thinking it's best to go to Ship-4, since Japanese BBS said that they prefer leaving Ship-2 for the English players. And so most of the serious PSO players not involved with PSO-World will most likely go there, try tell your friends if they interest it. The reason because they pick Ship-4 is because its an unlucky number and they can make an english speaking community away from the PSUen PC emos.
...You lost me. But try to have fun on Ship 1 even if I can't make it there.
I can understand what you mean about not being happy, if you have plans on investing money in this people might prefer the most populated one, specially by japanese considering how fast you get a good party and that it will have the best rated economy as well. Since The Economy access depends on how many dedicated players the server has. PSU EN was a big example of that flaw, low population and 95% players out of that low population that were mostly from scrubs to casuals resulted into frustrating parties, that values more of personal views of each player than gameplay and very messed up economy making most drop only consumables extremely cheap but rare weapons, units and grinders extremely overpriced. And some of the friends you named I know them and my psychology studies experience can easily tell that in anything in life when people look at small population places, is because they want to become popular, and in those places they have more chances, so I can totally understand why they chose that option.
I'll be going wherever Mizuumi goes. They seem to prefer the idea of going to a quieter server, which I'm not entirely fond of, but I owe them more than I can say. sibladeko and SK aren't people I'm willing to walk away from. I'll see if I can sway them, but expect the answer to be "No."
Hey Fenix, wanna go to Ship-1 in the OBT with me?
Actually I decided to give people a chance with Ship-2 but seeing many AFKers and people that don't worry in learning how to play, I will decide to go to Ship-1 where main JPers will go. Some friends you may know will go there too. If you want you can come to that ship when the OBT begins :3
As much as I want to, I doubt we're on the same server... I ended up going to Ship 5 because the IRC group I'm close to chose that over 2. Maybe next time?
