Eh, been a while since we last communicated. Sorry about that... so how far are you in PSU now? You haven't forgotten about PSO have you?
Is that so? Have you found any yet? Also, my new years was ok. I didn't go anywhere, which sucked. I was looking forward to having the new year ham. It's soooooo good.... how was your new years?
Thank you, and I will, although you probably won't hear anything about it for quite some though, as I'm still only on Normal. So you're currently 2/3 done with the game now? Are there any Special Weapons in PSU? If so, what kinds?
Oh really? As for what's coming my way, nothing much. Starting a loooooo*2 hours later*ooooong quest for a Double Cannon. So how far are you in PSU?
I realized it's been an entire work week (5 days) since we've communicated! Sorry for the long silence! Find anything relatively destroyitive yet? In other words, find anything that totally beats the baddies senseless?
Nah, don't worry about the double post Pat. I find myself doing it quite a lot frequently, mainly because my posts go over the 1000 character limit. That's cool you can change your class any time you want. Like I said, I only ever played it up to the first boss, so I haven't really played it much. The combat system was pretty smooth, for the most part, since I could never get in the final attack. Enemies were kinda cool. Anyways, Happy Holidays and Happy New Year! I don't know if I'll be able to get on tomorrow, so I thought I'd say it now.
Hey Pat. How far did you manage to get in PSU? I've only ever played the game to the first boss, so I don't really know what much of the game is like.
I'm pretty fine. Beat Mines yesterday, and I'm working on the Ruins right now. Haven't found anything special really, since I'm only a LV17 at the moment. Merry X-Mas to you as well! I played PSO all night liast night. Running on only about three or four hours of sleep, sor sorry if there's any mistakes.
All you do is just access a Multiplayer game, have everyone pick their characters, and then select the section option (Game Mode) and then select Challenge. It'll take you to the Hunters Guild, where you talk to the receptionist. She'll give you a list of current Challenge Mode Stages to play on. Select one of those stages, and you'll see a time. You don't have to beat it by then, but it's recommended you do it as fast as you can. Since you'd be doing it for the first time, just play through once to get a feel for it. Don't worry about the times. It's a good way to put a challenge in your PSO career!
Challenge Mode (often reffered here as C-Mode) is just like Normal Mode, except you're given a predetermined strating pack of weapons, armor, and items that you need to make last. Oh, and you're timed, the percentage rates of finding killer weapons (not special weapons, just weapons with high percents) is increased by a lot, and Materials now increase the appropiate stat by 10 instead of 2. However, everything, and I mean EVERTHING you get in Challenge Mode cannot be kept (downer, since during my first Challenge Mode run I found like 6 Luck Materials).
You don't need to play online to achieve an S-Rank weapon, although from what I understand, the ones you earn online are better than those you earn offline. If you needed to be online, I'd shoot myself, because I'm trying to get one right now, and it's putting me through a lot of stress.
Aw man. You changed your profile picture? I like the new one, but I kinda liked the old one better. Well, nothig stays the same forever. I guess it was bound to change at some point (in fact, I already changed mine twice). Five bucks? Damn. Pretty cheap (the game price, I mean. Just don't you taking that the wrong way. Said that once, and lost a friendship because of it. Never got a chance to explain myself). So you think that PSO gets a 10 out of 10? I think I'll give a 8.9 out of 10. Good game, but there's just some things about it I think they could've improved on. Still though, 18.9 points out of 20 possible, that's a high score. Have you looked at the item database for PSO yet? If you have, what's the one weapon in that your chatacter(s) can use that you want the most that you can get in offline mode (hope you can keep up with that)? Mine, as I already stated earlier, is the Partisan of Lightning followed VERY CLOSELY by the Soul Banish.
Like I said, we each have our style. Yours is undoubtedly pretty sound though (fancy way of saying solid, if you didn't know already). Although I find the speed of which weapons attack important, I take into their abilities more, because even with a fast attacking weapon, you can still find yourself in jams, and vice-versa for me. My favorite weapon type though is Double Sabers, especially once I set my eyes on the Partisan of Lightning. I was like: "I will own you someday!" when I seen it. So you play PSU now huh? Okay game. Not a huge fan of it myself, but I'll play it if there's nothing else to play.
Pat eh? No problem. You can either call me 219, or Dave. Either name works. The Musashi's Berserk attacks does do loads of damage. You just have to keep a watch on your HP, otherwise, you'll kill yourself (had it happen to me a couple of times). I prefer Soul Eater over Musashi, which does the same thing. It has less ATP, but in exchange for that, it can hit multiple enemies. But now, I want the Soul Banish. I thought that Soul Eater was good, but when I read about the Soul Banish... phew. Anyways, that's just me. So, other than killing monsters with otherworldly strength now, having a blast with Musashi? (I think I've asked that question before, but I'm not sure. If I have, sorry)
I hear you on that one. And all ID's can find /Battle units by the way. I've had 4 General/Battles equipped with a Musashi once, and I didn't see an increase at all in the speed of attack. Ever since I found it, I've used it to wreck bosses like Falz and Olga Flow. Great weapon for those bosses (or any boss for that matter). Just try out different attack styles, and you'll get the feel for the weapon.
Hey KnightOfRT. I see that you don't quite have any friends yet, so I thought that I could get you started. So, on a scale of 1 to 10, what would you give the Musashi? I can probably assume, but I'm just curious.
I guess I should of put it in my last post. I really like to use Partisan-type weapons, like the Soul Eater (favorite), and Double-Saber-type weapons like, well, the Double Saber. I'm not really into guns either, but I do like the Launcher-type weapons, like Photon Launcher and Red Scorpio. Musashi totally destroys it's enemies. In fact, I gave it a nickname when I first beat Olga Flow with it. I called my "Boss Destroyer". Good luck in finding your Musashi! (There's also a Yamato, which is just like it, but the Mushashi is much better in my terms. Of course, I'm sure you knew about the Yamato, but, in case you didn't...)
You're welcome. And it's okay that you don't know what it's for. I did the same thing, just looked at it to find out what it was. Anyways, I'm alway nice. If you need any help with anything, contact members or mods of this site. They'll all be happy to help in any way they can! So, what kinds of weapons do you use?
I, as well, will help you in any way possible with your questions (as long as they are concerning Ep. 1 & 2, since that's the only version I play, ha ha ha!), so don't be afraid to ask me as well. Oh, and do you know what the Beat Calculator is for? I seen that you were viewing it, so I thought that you might know what it's for. Thanks for any answer you can give. I appreciate it.
Absolutely! Whatever helps! Don't be afraid to ask for help of any kind, I'll happily assist in anyway.
