How long does it last? Things are okay for me, except I can't seem to find my weapons I'm after, so I've been playing Custom Robo a bit, as well a Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles. My bro took it home with him now though, so I'm stuck with my 30cm tall robos in Custom Robo... I'm thinking about doing another Caves run, as Custom Robo just became really easy now that I got my hands on my favorite weapon -- the Stun Gun. (Yes, it's as it sounds... a stun gun).

Eh, they don't make sense if you ask me Not trying to be rude at all, just joking. Not sure if any of you PSU friends try and make "literal sense" of a name, best way I could put it. I might play PSO in a bit, either try and get to ultimate with my RAmarl, or just level up my main some more. I should update my character info while I'm here. I haven't done it for a while now...

I think the name sounds rather cool, kinda makes you feel like a powerful Warrior of Light or something when you play it, sent on a mission to cast away (or, "Shred") the Darkness.

True. In my eyes though, since I'll be spending most of my time in the Seaside area, until I get my prized sword (you know what that is), I'll need that Cure/Shock more than anything, due to those blasted Gibbons. Why couldn't they've made a Cure/All? That'd make life so much easier.... Of course, it'd have it's drawbacks as well, since it'll make you immune to all ailments. Nothing is that good without having at LEAST 1 drawback, be it minor, or major.

Yeah, true. I'm waiting for my mom to get to Ultimate so she can help me with the hunt. I figure a FO would be invalueble in this tedious hunt of Gi Gue. After all, two people who can use Anti will be divine...

But a Cure/Shock can solve all those problems (damn Gibbons...)

Well, if I'm lucky, I'll get both in the same room... like I did with the Al Rappies (still psyched about that... recieved two Inf. Bazooka's as a prize. Cool!) After I get done with that, I might either pick up my Redria again to hunt that Lavis Cannon, OR I might do the SJS hunt... 3 Gi Gues down, god knows how many more to go. Hopefully 1 (yeah right, I wish).

True, which can be quite frustrating, but at least you can gain something out of it -- EXP. Of course, in Baten Kaitos, you can also gain EXP while you're looking for whatever it is you need to do... eh, PSO's worse. Especially when you're looking for two different rare enemies to get two different items you want. Sange & Demo Comet is what I'm currently after. Also using it as an opportunity to publish my first Excavation Report. Knowing my luck, it'll probably be the biggest number on there, as I'm hunting BOTH in the same report.

Yeah, that's true... they'd be boring otherwise. Too straightforward.... Sometimes it's frustrating though, especially when you have to sit there and do practically everything you can think of at least 10 times over and still not find out what to do then find out what you need to do when you're just casually playing on accident... I don't know if hunting rares in PSO is worse, or that! It kinda makes you feel dumb when you find out the answer in such scenarios...

I got my new GC. I've only played one game for PlayStation: Army of 2. Other than that, I don't really care for it all that much. The controller confuses me too much... I'm used to "A, B, X, Y, Z" and all that, not "O, X, Square, Triangle, R1, R2" and the such. It's like "Which button's which?" and I go and press the wrong button and do something wrong and end up dying... quite humourus actually to watch me play, hahaha! I haven't played (or even heard of) all the games you mentioned, with the exception of Tales of Symphonia (I've heard of it, never played it). It sounds like it has some tough competition... Well, if you get it, let me know what you think about it. Good luck when you get it (as you will get stuck, it's almost a guaranteed thing).

Okay then, it'll rank among the top 5. If you've played more than 5, then top 10. It'll be up there anyways! It's number one for me. Also, I'm not sure about any of the others you've played where the story is good, but Baten Kaitos has voice actors. Of course, those can be toggled on/off I believe. They have good tracks as well. I would love for a new one to come out for DS.

Well, I would advise you don't if you pick up Origins. I think I also explained some of the events leading up to some of them as well. And some are just absolutely dramaticly interesting. I fell in love with the story of "Eternal Wings" and thought it was well planned out. "Origins" stole that away from "Eternal Wings". To me, "Origins" storyline is simply beautiful, well thought out, and can become very dramatic, if that's the word I'm after here. I'm almost certain that, amongst games that you've played story wise, Baten Kaitos will rank among the best.

Ah, thanks. Locating Baten Kaitos will be somewhat difficult. When I got both of my copies, the store manager said they were rare. You might have to go through eBay or some other kind of site to get one, if you can't find one in the shops. Either way, let me know when you get one, and which one it is. If it's Origins you get, then... don't look at my album, haha. Unless you don't care much for the story aspect, as it does spoil a lot of the best/most dramatic parts.

It's out only for the GC. There's two different installments: "Eternal Wings and the Lost Ocean", which came first, and then there's "Origins", which is the prequel-sequel (meaning it came out AFTER "Eternal Wings", but it's story takes place before "Eternal Wings" does. I found out it to be roughly 20 years earlier). The story of both games is great, but "Origins" is the best. I've recently started it up again, so I'm taking a break from PSO at the moment. When/if you get your own copy, let me know. I can help you out, should you need/want my help. I also hope you didn't look in my album if you get "Origins", since practically all the descriptions there contain spoilers. Even some of the pictures themselves are spoilers. It's just there because it's an awesome game, and to introduce people to it who might never pick it up. I need to find pics for "Eternal Wings" as well, but so far, I haven't been able to find any. And, need I say that your description didn't help me that much, haha I'm still kinda confused... I'll figure it out on my own eventually... like just now. But what confuses me now is "demographic". I've never heard that word before...

I'm not too sure what you menat by "cult", but if you get the chance, at least try it out. It's really fun.

The story isn't too great, but it is interesting. It doesn't get that way until later on, when you're getting to go... well, I better not spoil it, just in case you decide to pick it up again. Flexibility is good. I'm just more comfortable using characters I'm already familiar with. And what you said is very true, to each thier own way for play styles. Both are good. I'm also looking into it, if you find anything out, let me know, and I'll keep you informed of whatever I find (I didn't know you were interested in BK games).

I've been alright since I got my new GC. I'm currently hunting for a Lavis Cannon right now. *scrolls down to see if he's already said that* Okay, I haven't yet. I seem to have a bad memory sometimes when it comes to things I've talked about. I'll mention the same thing like twice or three times and not realize it until like way later. LV50 with my HUcast, who's hunting the Lavis Cannon. I wonder if GCPSO will get any more attention once BB arrives... The ability to change class in PSO would be great. It'd make things a little easier if I could use my Guilty Light... But then again, I also have a tendency to be loyal. For instance, whenever I make a HU, it's usually HUnewearl, RA's are usually RAmar, and FO is either FOmar or FOnewm. Might make a FOnewm to replace my HUcast once he gets his hands on that Lavis Cannon. I kinda laughed a little when you said that you attack stupidly fast. I might give PSO a break soon and switch over to either Custom Robo or Baten Kaitos. Haven't played either of them for a while... maybe SSBM. I wish that Custom Robo 2 came out for the US as well. It's out in Japan, guess it really wasn't that big on success, either that, or they're just torturing those who love Custom Robo. Same thing for Baten Kaitos. I heard that they were gonna make a new installment, but pulled the plug due to sales. But recently, I've caught wind of a Baten Kaitos game coming for the DS. That'd be great. I'm hoping they decide to go through with it.
