I guess I will, there are some other PSP games that I may get, so it won't be getting the system just for that game. Namely some MH games and Final Fantasy.

I don't think there will be any problems or conflicts. I can't say I've tried it myself though. If you get your account banned though, you won't be able to take either copy online.

That I don't know the answer to. However, since you are fiddling with the PSP1 save data instead of the PSP2 save data, I think it'll be alright. If you mess with the PSP2 save data, you can expect to be banned eventually.

It doesn't matter if you beat PSP1 or not. It just needs to be a save from PSP1, so yes, it could be a level 1 character.

Yes, the side story with Viv (and only that side story) will have an extra choice if you are playing with a character imported from PSP1. It's not really much extra content though. A choice is added to the conversation when you first meet Viv during the mission that you wouldn't have if you didn't import a save. That's it though.
