Five. Six if I feel like it.
Eventually it will permanently be six; One for each element.

Same, the FTs I partied with did important Buffs and Zalure or Jellen. If there were two FTs, in some cases one would handle Zalure and the other with Jellen. Since Damubarta is the only attack they use (or need) there casting debuffs on enemies didn't seem like a big task to them since Zalure and Damubarta synths well for the element boost. On 2007-01-13 00:28, Laranas wrote:

LOL Depends on the char. My Beast just uses S/D so only 2. My other 2 can also Resta (with my main using Giresta too) so anywhere from 4-6. When I have leftover Photon Charges, I just spam buffs to help raise them. Man, is it slow! LOL Been considering J/Z for my main tho. Depends if I make a Force. If I do, my Force will get J/Z instead.
So much focus on debuffing...now that there are....4 buffs, and 4 debuffs, I think more focus is needed.
For instance, use either Jellen, or Zodeel - if creatures can't hit, they can't do damage, OR if they can do damge, but don't do much, then it's not an issue.
I plan to carry 2 buffs on a wand (probably shifta/deband, but maybe Retrier in megids areas), 1 wand with 2 debuffs or a debuff and an attack spell, and 1 wand with 2 attack spells or Regrants and Resta for mosters who are easier to deal with that way.
That leaves 2 slots open for melee weapons, and 1 slot for a bow/3rd melee weapon.
