    Since fT has such a wide variaty of usable techs with different strengths and weaknesses, its important to know when to use what tech. So I've made a list of what kind of situations call for which techs.

    Template
    Element -
    # of Mobs(small or large, nothing means both) - Tech (listed in order of effectiveness)

    Fire Mobs -
    1() = Diga, Dambarta
    2(s) = Dambarta, Rabarta, Diga
    2(l) = Rabarta, Diga, Dambarta
    3(s) = Dambarta, Rabarta, Gibarta
    3(l) = Rabarta, Gibarta
    3+(s) = Dambarta, Gibarta
    3+(l) = Gibarta

    Ice Mobs -
    1() = Foie, Damfoie
    2(s) = Damfoie, Rafoie, Foie
    2(l) = Rafoie, Foie, Damfoie
    3(s) = Damfoie, Rafoie, Gifoie
    3(l) = Rafoie, Gifoie
    3+(s) = Damfoie, Gifoie
    3+(l) = Gifoie

    Thunder Mobs -
    1() = Diga
    2(s) = Damdiga, Radiga, Diga
    2(l) = Radiga, Diga, Damdiga
    3(s) = Damdiga, Radiga, Gidiga
    3(l) = Radiga, Gidiga
    3+(s) = Damdiga, Gidiga
    3+(l) = Gidiga

    Earth Mobs -
    1() = Foie
    2() = Razonde, Foie
    3(s) = Razonde, Gizonde
    3(l) = Gizonde, Razonde
    3+() = Gizonde

    Technic Resistance Mobs(TRM) -
    Always carry a bow with you, preferably an alteric, because upgraded, it will be the best bow fT can use for a while. Get the elemental bow shots and use according to the mob's element.

    High HP Mobs(HHM) and All Resistance Mobs(ldr)-
    Virus or burn is of great help here, either level your Foie/Fire arrows or Insei-Sou to 21 for lvl 4 burn or infection. Insei-Shiki at lvl 21 only has lvl 2 infection, not good enough for Tengohgs and other "big" mobs, but I prefer Insei-shiki because it shoots 3 blades, 3 times the chance to infect for lower mobs. Since burnSE4/virus does 5% mob's total HP per tick, on mobs like Tengohgs in Demons Above S, they do 1339 damage per tick. Which is more than any technic or PA will do.

    If anyone has anything else to add, post.

    So far so good. It'd be even better once other members give you more info & input to beef it up, yeah?
    Blink & you might miss it! ;3

    Oh, keep sig at 600x180 px & 49KB, yah?

    I will only argue on one point, which is your strategy for high HP stuff. By the time a burn level 4 wears off, they should be mostly dead, so if its what the party is concetrating on, burn it. Otherwise, by all means, blast it with virus.

    Burn just does 5% on a 2 sec clock, instead of Virus's 4 sec.

    It's pretty rare for the party to beat Virus in a race. The only place I've used Virus where the status doesn't run out by the time the monster's down... well recently... is Bruce B.

    makes you wonder what the point is behind bothering to attack w melee...SEs seem to rule the damage roost.

    Burn doesn't do 5%, burn does 3%(though sometimes I see it doing 5% for some reason) and it lasts a lot shorter than virus. If virus run's it's course, it takes off 35% of mob's total health, burn takes off like 15-20%. But I see what you're saying, burn is a lot easier to stick on stuff than virus. Tengohgs only need lvl 3 burn, but need lvl 4 virus.

    Lots of misinformation towards the end here...

    Dammegid starts and ends at level 2 infection, so it'll never be working on the big guys. The only way a fortetecher can infect large enemies is with Insei-sou 21 (dark longbow)

    Completely wrong. Cards never go above level 2 SE and 3 shots per attack

    Also, burn does do 5% damage at level 4 SE, which fortetechers can get with fire arrows or level 21+ foie

    Thx for info, I kinda assumed some of the stuff at the end cause I'm working on lvling them up right now. Good to know the DoT %'s and times too, was wondering about those.
