Challenge mode, s-rank weaps offline too?

I saw an article about how the weaps you get from challenge offline are different from online. Can anybody confirm if this is true?

There are no S-rank weapons offline. There are 2 god shields, one for B/A-rank and then there are some assorted Ver2 rares for S-rank, including Samba Maracas, Chemeleon Scythe, etc...

Well at least you can get samba maracas offline since i havent otten a modem yet.
