Runescape is possibly the worst RPG I have ever had the displeasure of playing. "Free" doesn't mean good. I recommend FlyFF if you want a free MMORPG. PSO and Runescape are entirely different things, but since Runescape is at the very bottom of the MMORPG genre, and PSO is near the top of the action-RPG genre, it's pretty clear what you should pick.
Silkroad online is free
Last Chaos is free and its online, not a bad game either... BUT PSO RULES!!!!!!!!! And runescape badly falls deeper into the cosmo fountain.
Runescape = Sux.. but that's my opinion.
PSO = Awesome.. but that's my opinion too.
Comparison of RS and PSO = No f***ing way. And that's my statement.

Runescape is a kindy-garden game, that basically has no point, and PSO, is of course better.
Who would rather play Runescape, what a waste of time.
