Where to find "legendary" kubara wood offline

Can anyone tell me where to find Kubara wood or something like that for making weapons? i only play offline so does any1 know?

I play PSU v.1, because where i live AoI was never in a store by my house.

Now, i turn on my PS2 and ask myself, "Wtf am i going to do with all these Svaltus Boards?". Kubara Wood is close to impossible to find in v.1. Is it easy to find in v.2 AoI?

P.S. you can get the crea doubles board Offline in V.1 right? If so Where?

P.S.S. I'm talking about offline AoI, is it easy to get the wood offline?

The best place to find it is the Parum mission called What is in the Ruins?

Also, Kubara Wood is very common in AotI. You can even buy it in the shop offline.

damn, you can buy it offline. i have 72 Svaltus boards saved up, if i make them all and sell them ill be like..... a millionaire.

I haven't been playing but for about 2 days and I have noticed alot of people are at a mad dash for kubara wood offline. I find about 7 of them every 30-50 minutes.

Search every block for hidden areas with 3-4 boxes usually. They won't be out in the open you have to search the whole area. 1 set of boxes required 2 locks to open the door but it contained a kubara wood in each box!

its because ur a beast if ur human u find it alot more but beast have like a 15% chance of getting one.

I get them anywhere. They aren't the most common, but offline you can get them anywhere. You need to look in the boxes.
But, this may be because I am a Human.

So Human's have a much bigger bonus of obtaining kubara wood then Beasts? Then how about the Newmans and Casts?

I'm not sure about the higher chance, but if you go through Hill of Spores on C Rank, you should end up with around 7 offline. They come from boxes, not monsters.

This thread is really more for V.1 offline users. In V.1, Kubara Wood was about as rare as a rare spawn in AotI offline. You didn't find it unless you looked for it and even then, only very sparsely.

For V.1 "What's in the ruins?" as Dragwind has pointed out (Quoting Thanubis) is the place to go.
For AotI you do get alot in HoS, but generally it drops most anywhere... and you can even buy it if you wanted to.
