the beach?

ok i know this prob a stupid question, but for the life of me i can't find the beach area that i keep seeing in pictures. lol. could someone tell me where it is.

Edit: I recommend taking Valley of Carnage route since you won't have to fight Dimmagoug.

Dimmagolus by itself isn't the problem with the System Defense route: the fact that it takes a quite a bit longer to complete than the Valley of Carnage route is.
