I'm 3 frags away from the minimum ult pa req...I alredy have nosdiga..and I dunno if I want nosmegid jus yet. So I wanted some insight on the usefulness of noszonde. In terms of damage..knock back capabilities, versatility and pp consumption...is there a reason to use it beyond ground monsters?

It hits even aerial enemies, knocks enemies down, and shocks them.

Noszonde is useful for it's range, tracking and knockdown.

It has a SWEET range on it. If you have to attack from afar, this can be the way to go.

The tracking feature is helpful vs. fast opponents. You don't have to aim, just target something and let fly! The only downside is trying to target the correct enemy...sometimes, you'll have something else targeted, not the creature you really want to hit. Takes some practice to use it correctly.

And the knock down. It will stop small enemies in their tracks...doesn't knock them on their backs, but will pause them for a second. Good to keep them in place...

Versatile? Not really.. It only hits two enemies at a time (with a chance to shock!), but the high cost to cast may turn you away from using it all the time.

I also like having it because it is a fourth lightning based spell...other than that, I don't use it that much.

I have Noszonde up to lvl 27 or 28 now and it is pretty cool but you definately want to use a Rod with it, as it takes I think 60+ pp a use But I do love how it looks visually after lvl 21 and it can only hit 2 enemies at a time but it knocks down a lot of enemies even some larger ones after lvl 21 (ie: Goazoran) It would be worth getting out of the other Ultimte PA's I think.

The only problem is if your like me is trying to decide what PA's you want because I have all 14 Bullet PA's (card/bow) and can only have 22 Spells....bullets are the best at times so they are a must.

Back to that spell, it's worth it, you'll like it

    Zonde
    Gizonde
    Zodial
    Zodeel
    Noszonde
    .... wait a minute here

If you mean because you put Zodial on a buff rod, then I understand.

On topic: Noszonde seems to be pretty effective, but I just don't use the other lightning-based techs enough to deticate a rod to it.

I dunno if it's worth it for my beast fortetecher... though I need some OTHER zonde technic BESIDES razonde. Guess it'll have to do.

Hmm, would it be worth it to get Noszonde to replace zonde as a wartecher then? (After working up Barta a bit, I've decided I </3 line-based attack techs. XD)
