Oh my God, Hispanic voices would be incredible. If it's anything like the dubbing I've seen on some animes, I know it would be made out of nothing but pure win.

They sound fucking retarded. If a shopkeeper ever spoke like that to me I'd have to walk out and check the door to see if I hadn't accidentally walked into some kind of specialist maid cafe for people who want to fuck drooling retards. On 2007-05-09 15:46, Ryoten wrote:
Have you ever heard the jp voices of the shop ladies? OMG they sound hawt!!! Jp voices ftw!!!

They yell "Irrashai" in a REAL bad accent. I don't mind it, but it was certainly something new being able to play the AoI beta with voices that didn't sound like crap. But I can imagine after hearing them say that in that weird accent over and over again it'd be kind of grating.
But yeah, JP voices here. This is your classic subs vs dubs debate, and it won't end here nor will it end in the next game that will be dubbed over by crappy American voice actors.
I hope Sonic Team puts in a dual language option like they did with Sonic Adventure.. or was it Adventure 2. Can't remember.
* 98% of people like to put character progress in their signatures. If you're one of the 2% who doesn't, put this in your signature.

This game needs more Middle Eastern voices. I would love to hear my Cast shout Jihad everytime he pulls out his SUV.
I could dub my own character voices... that would be something When I cast rafoie, "SABOTAGE!!!" or the evil mwahahahahahahahah when using dark techs ^.^ Oh well, 0% chance of being able to do that :/ I can only dream it.
While it wouldn't bother me if the option was there for others, I personally would stick with the US/EU voices, for two reasons:
1. I find the act of announcing your actions to be ridiculious.
2. I can't stand not knowing what is being said, even if subtitles are present.
(Which also happens to be one of the reasons why I'll never be considered a "hardcore" anime fan.)
It was both actually, and unfortunately for some reason ever since Sonic heroes, they've taken out that option (from the gamecube version atleast)On 2007-05-10 00:42, BahnKnakyu wrote:

Now i played with the JP voices, and yes i'm an anime fan, yes i'm also a Japanese culture....studier...(that doesn't make much since but i'll stick with it) Anyway The JP voices to me were better because they do get more than just grunts and groans, the phrases help (and i'll admit, when i played the JP version of PSU when i picked out my voice, i could understand what they were saying...)
And just because you speak english doesn't mean you can't listen to a voice track that isn't in english. I mean, what if ST really WAS lazy and never hired English Voice actors at all? You wouldn't have a choice BUT to play this game wiht voicing you couldn't understand.
Oh and i forgot who said it, but you can be a "hardcore anime fan" in your own right. like you need to prove anything to anyway.
I'll swallow the annoying and sometimes funny NA voices (death cries sound more like....well...-you know- ) and hope that we get offered a option to switch, however it would be too hard to implement across an online server AND too much to hope from ST since their trend is to only include the native language in their games.
Yeah we rangers are such noobs -.-On 2007-05-09 15:40, Zorafim wrote:

I want my Fortegunner to go "Pew Pew" when shooting my rifle or "KABOOM" when using my grenade launcher. Now I usually forget my character even has a voice until I get owned by some baddie.
I'm really surprised anyone bothers to have a ranger. Their damage is relatively subpar, they share the ability to use traps, the share their ability to inflict status, they never hear their character's voice, and worst of all they have the same bullet animation that they had since lv1.
Or maybe I just don't like guns, it's one of those.
I wished we had the ability to choose. If so, I'd have been using the JP voices. I was quite disappointed to find that they werent there.
From what I played on the import, there was only like, 2 voice sets I really liked. I forgot which numbers they were though, but I used it for Rain and Fifth. >.> Personally, I think I like the english voice sets more.
