    link

First of all, that page (and the map on it) is just for the purpose of staying coherent. My directions will only make sense if you look at that map on that page. The part that is cirled and zoomed in has the switches labeled and I will base this helper on those labels.

There are 2 parts to making this mission go smooth: Getting the bloody keys and after that is taken care of, Cornering that beast kid.

    1. Getting the bloody keys!

Start the mission up and run right past the switches. Some of the monsters can be skipped but I am not sure which at the moment, but use common sense: if there is no red door/gate behind a group of monsters, just skip them (UNLESS THEY DROP A KEY). Anyway after a quick sprint, you will see a red locked door on your right (with 3 green switches in front of it) and a telepad on your left. The beast kid will take the telepad, and you should follow. After teleporting keep to the left. You will again almost nab the kid, but there is a telepad behind him he will take. Go toward it and several vanda and a vanda king will spawn, kill them because they hold the first key! Grab that bugger then take the telepad that the beast kid took.

You are now back at the start, return to the switches and until the first set, referred to on the map as switch (A) and (B). When untouched the (A) switch will be green and the (B) will be red. Change that up by hitting the (B) switch. After that run back around to the room with the (now de-activated) telepad on your left and the (now opened) door on you right. The little bugger will take the opened door, as should you. You will be hit by some ceiling spikes and come to a bridge with the kid of the other side. The kid will hop into the telepad on you left and some vanda will appear. These guys I think you can skip, so long as the telepad is ready to teleport. After teleporting you will find a group of vanda and a king vanda. This group's demise will reward you with the second and final key! Grab it and take the path through the door to the south. You can't take the telepad that will be on you right, you have to take the long way back around.

    2. Cornering that kid!

Now with both keys you can control both sets of switches. The trick to this mission is that you have to chase the kid off twice, then run back and change the switches ever so slightly and you will have him trapped. As I said, the first key opens the (A) and (B) switches, but the second key opens the (C) and (D) switches. To lure the kid into the trap that is {TRIAL CLEAR}, step on the (B) switch and then go and step on the (D) switch. Now you have to chase the kid a little. Run to the room with telepad (now activated) on your left and the door (now locked) on your right. The kid will take the telepad as should you. After 'porting, run ahead until you get to see the kid run off once more. This will occur in the same spot that the first key was dropped, but now the telepad is de-activated and the door that is way over to your right is unlocked. The kid will run toward that door.

AFTER YOU SPOOK THE KID, TURN AROUND AND TAKE THE TELEPAD AND RUN BACK TO THE SWITCHES! Now you will return to the switches to find that (B) and (D) are green. You will get that bugger if you leave the (D) switch alone, and step on the (A) switch! Now, run to the room with telepad (still activated) on your left and the door (still locked) on your right. Take that left side telepad and then go through the door on your right (it's not exactly to your right, but in that direction). This will lead you to the room where the second key was dropped but this time the telepad will be activated for a one way trip out of that room. This will put you south of the small bridge and put the kid with nowhere else to go!

Hope that helps! The obligatory "doubling back" and "taking the long way" are surely a pain in the ass, but hang in there and you will make it. Skipping vanda groups can speed you up a little if you want to get a good ranking but don't skip the ones that hold keys! Good luck!

Oh, thanks for truncating that link for me, Dhylec. I wasn't sure how to do that myself.

Hey DikkyRay, I work right in Towson, too. There is a Starbucks on York road, the one with the drive through, that's the one. I have met another person from around Towson, actually in game. We were in a party and started talking about where we lived, he actually goes to the high school I graduated from, but he is 7 or 8 years younger than me....

Thanks for this! I've been having no end of nightmares with this little swine! I made my own map, marked down all the variations etc, then, when I tried to trap him, he kept appearing in places where he could escape! When I use this to catch the git I'm gonna throttle him.

Thanks for the guide. I was sitting down trying to figure this out for a while. Then I got my red lights and green lights confused with x's and o's.

    Towson? I'm in Lutherville-Timonium.

Hope this works... I'm going to try it out. I spent 1 hour and 18 minutes getting so frustrated.
