Hello, I'm thinking of trying the Protranser class on my main character. I know AweofShe did this with his Newman but it is all of a sudden starting to intrest me. Now you can call me slow but I kinda have little understanding of the class.
At the moment my Newman is lvl 58 at Fortefighter 9, my questions are,
Should I wait a couple more levels before I try for the class?
What is a good pallette setup for a Protranser?
Recomendation for bullets?
Can you fix my framerate?
1) Yes.
2) LOTS OF BOWS AND SHOTGUNS AND SWORDS.
3) Ice ice baby. Get Virus Bullets on bows though, yum.

Shotguns are godlike. Close up, each bullet hits the opponent at the same time, and at level 21 you have 5 bullets hitting home.
That's not bad damage.
Considering each shot has a chance to inflict SE, you're looking at a sweet weapon.
AND THEY NEVER RUN OUT OF PP EVER.
Um... I'm level 69 and I haven't seriously considered starting protranser, but I started dabbling as a level 55 CAST.
Which was horrible enough. Newmans might want to wait a little longer unless you have help.
You will be gimped until Protranser 6.
You'll have crap stats no matter what your level. Might as well get going. To start, you should use the best bow, knuckles, spear, and handgun + saber you can. Get into swords and shotguns as you climb into the mid-ranks. Lasers, grenades, and axes ASAP when you meet requirements.
Good luck setting up your palette. You'll need it.
Get all bow elements, fire for handgun, and others on an as-needed basis.

I would wait till your about level80. When i started PT at 80 i had 900 HP with a BEAST. It would probably be much worse since your 22 levels under that and your a newman.
Eck only 900 x_X. Now I'm not sure if I should do what panzer said and start now or wait like Chuck and Esufer said. ._.
