Seems Varista drops as well. Perhaps the Casino version has different stats? Or the C might just be to denote the difference.

I think they do have different stats. For example, I was about to update the Magical Wand entry at the 'pedia when I realized that the one at the casino has 100 less PP and TP than the stats we already have listed. Odd...

Well, there was a rebalancing of some items in the most recent patch. I know Gaozoran Rod for one got it, but until we see the stats of both casino and dropped versions, we'll be shooting in the dark.
