Today I ran a mish or two with some of my buddies (who don't have the expansion yet. ) so we played a game of "IDENTIFY THIS" and wanted to see how they saw some of the new items. The Durandal replica shows up as a Saber, and my Mag showed up as ??? on the menu, but is not visible on my character.

But the funny part is, I dropped a Booma claw to see what they'd see it as. They couldn't see it at all, but another AOI player who was in the mission with us grabbed it, and promptly left the room. The poor noob had no idea he just gave up more meseta than the thing was worth, and also an ok amount of MP.

Yeah, TECH-Mags, R-Mags, Whips and Slicers don't appear to v1 players. Durandal Replica appears as a Sabic, and both the Varista and Tenora Twin Handguns appeared as Handguc / Twin Handguc.

I supposed I shouldn't sound this way. On the contrary, I was wondering if PSU allows players to attack other players like in PSO where the defeated Guardian can end up with his/her meseta, items, and goods taken away by other guardians. Personally, I believed that such a system would mean no more than bandits.
