Duping again?

Browsing a few shops for Relic Edges. Of course they were all insanely priced, and a lot of shops had upwards of 50 of them as well as insane amounts of other rare synthesis materials.

Aren't relic edges kind of rare? How the fuck does someone have 90 of them without duping?

many rare materials were duped back in the day, that particular exploit was patched long ago, but nothing was done about the duped materials.

my guess is that the ones you're seeing right now originate from back then, and the owner is selling them now because he needs money or something.

the other option, which is easy to do now, is buy all the materials lower than your price, and sell them at your higher price. It makes yours the lowest priced one, and gives you a large number of the item to sell
