4.) If you pipe on the Wii it WILL ruin your Wii, but it will take longer. A more effective way to find rare monsters is to do missions those monsters frequent. Then quit the mission before you finish it, should you not find the rare monster. Then redo the mission.

This was answered earlier in the thread. Short story, it will wear out the lens, just as it did on the GC. However, it will take longer.

As this has been asked twice now, I have edited #4 to clarify what I meant by ruin the Wii.

You might want to look again at rule 12, Alex
There's just no way the Luck stat would give you a 100% chance at a critical hit.
It's either divided by 2 or by 4.
