IRC and 4x memory cards

I wanted to ask what irc server hosts any rooms about PSO?
I also would like to know if the 4x memory card works with PSO?

Yes PSO does support 4x cards.

The official PSO World irc server/channel is:

EFnet - (irc.ins.net.uk) - #pso

If that server to efnet does not work yoiu can always try irc.mcs.net

About the 4x Memory Cards. This is quite important to note. I could NOT get PSO to save my character with my 3rd party 4x memory card. But it will easily save on a Sega-made 4x memory card. Besides, if you want to help support Sega to make great games like PSO, go buy their stuff!

I'm pro sega all the way.. I've checked out the offbrand types they are only liek 2 or 3 $$ cheaper.. not much of a savings.. So I tend to just buy sega brand. But I do shop around for the lower prices to sega brand names..
Long Live sega.. the PSX2 looks cool but I already have a $400 dvd player.. along with the rest of my entertainment center.. ;-p
