I was considering getting PSU for my new computer. I have no doubt my computer can run it so that isn't a problem. However, there is no way my mom would let me pay monthly for an online game like PSU. I wanted to know if there are ways to play with others offline, or online without paying. Also, if I can't play with anybody else without paying, is the single player entertaining enough to just buy the game for that?

    Any advice would be appreciated.

Unfortunately there is no way to play with people online without paying a monthly fee. Offline of episode 1 is bad so don't even bother, but I've heard offline for the expansion (Ambition of the Illuminus) is very fun.

If you are really looking for an mmorpg that is fun, mature, and free I suggest you try Guild Wars. You have to buy the disc but online play is free. The game actually has 3 standalone parts (Prophecies, Factions, and Nightfall) and one expansion (Eye of the North). I would suggest Prophecies (the original Guild Wars) or Nightfall unless you want the 2 exclusive classes in Factions.

    heres the website: http://www.guildwars.com/

Good luck finding some fun games for your new computer!
