Meh, Speedfan tends to inaccurate by roughly 10 C, google and download CoreTemp 0.96 if you need to check temps. Anything 60 C and up is bad news.

Something tells me the lag could be due to drivers or software issues and not necessarily hardware, just based off of your system's specs.
