I think you mean LAVIS? It's special launches a wave that hits multiple enemies (like a slicer), but uses HP in the process.
Only FOrces can use Reverser, Grants, and Megid.
In addition:
HUmar cannot use shifta & deband
RAmar cannot use jellen & zalure
Traps come in 4 flavors:
Damage - causes small damage to enemies, but can instant kill Pofuilly Slimes.
Freeze - Freeze enemies for a short time
Confuse - Confuses enemies so they attack their closest target, even if it's one of their own.
Slow (only in battle mode)

wait a minute i got my lavis cannon from a hacker could they have disabled the health sacrificing code?

I take it you are playing the DC version, in which case none of that stuff applies to you.
