Well the idea is that they're easy to get. Like, say, bought from a store or a Kubara outpost. Hell, maybe from Kubara itself if they ever add the town in. Perhaps as a late-game lobby, much like the Casino. You could buy the boards to make yourself, or maybe just buy them outright. So even if you lost a weapon, it'd be easy enough to get ahold of again.I really don't like that idea. Unless we're only talking about the A rank Kubaras. Something like ohh..a Vish Adac for example, I would NOT want to break on me...unless when you went to repair it, it kept it's elemental %.
But, on the realistic side, weapon degradation has never really been a good idea in games so it would only harm the game to have them degrade/break.
Feed men, and then ask of them virtue!
I think the best idea was the one where 10* Kubara versions are usable by people restricted by A ranks only.
Like the 10* Hyper Viperics - let that be used by Fortegunners and Figunners who cannot really equip the Hyper VIPER GRM 10* dualies. Let them have a weapon that LOOKS like a 10* but it doesn't have the special effects hehe.
Its like "LIKES". They LIKE the real NIKES.

all kubara "knock-offs" have no effect of the sort.. like the kubara tenora a-rank pistols dont shoot "bullets"On 2008-01-17 17:52, Addark wrote:

Maybe, instead of giving the Kubara copies a tendency to break, give them unreasonably high PP usage. Sure, it's just a step down from an S rank but it consumes an unprecedented amount of photon points that you might just be inclined to get the real thing and switch classes. Hell, it even lacks the cool auars and bullets and effects and the like.On 2008-01-17 16:32, Sinue_v2 wrote:

On a side note, Kubara copies for S ranks are probably intended to be bad because it's easier to get Kubara Wood in place of the S rank woods.
