GUARDIANS BOOST ROAD

The GUARDIANS Boost Road will give you a special bonus for focusing your efforts into a set of missions for a limited time. The first Boost Road will start at the Moatoob Flyer Base and includes the following missions:

System Defense

Desert Terror

Tunnel Recapture

Caves of Ice

Awoken Serpent

The more ranks you earn on all five of these missions the higher your drop rates for missions on the boost road will go up, to a maximum boost of 50%. Your bonus is based on which of the Boost Road missions you have done the least, so be sure to work on all five missions to most effectively build your bonus.

In future updates the Boost road will be moved to other sets of missions. The Boost Road will also vary between different types of rewards, such as experience or mission points.

Note to players who are still using original Phantasy Star Universe:

While you can team up with Ambition of the Illuminus players who have a boost in the first three missions of GBR, you can not build up boosts levels yourself without AOTI

NEW MISSIONS (AMBITION OF THE ILLUMINUS ONLY)

Two Ambition of the Illuminus missions have new high rank versions:

Caves of Ice S2

Awoken Serpent S2

NEW ITEMS (AMBITION OF THE ILLUMINUS ONLY)

New My Room items are now available in the variety shop and for exchange in the Casino. Some existing Casino items will no longer be available, but will return in rotation.

NEW PARTNER MACHINE UPGRADES (AMBITION OF THE ILLUMINUS ONLY)

Extra evolution devices for partner machinery have been added. They are useable on all GH4xx types if required conditions are met. And "GH470" and "GH480" are new partner machine models.

* EX Device GH41x ;Required: Battle Points over 10

* EX Device GH42x ;Required: Battle Points over 15

* EX Device GH43x ;Required: Battle Points over 20

* EX Device GH44x ;Required: Battle Points over 25

* EX Device GH45x ;Required: Battle Points over 30

* EX Device GH470 ;Required: Battle Points over 10 (Boys type)

* EX Device GH480 ;Required: Battle Points over 30 (butler type)

Note to players who are still using original Phantasy Star Universe:

Original PSU users will see "GHX005" displayed in the screen when viewing Partner Machinery evolved to GH470 or GH480 in a room where original PSU players can enter.

Original PSU users will see "GH470" or "GH480" as a plain blue silhouette in the field – this is not a bug.

Inventory Expanding Device:

The "NanoTrancer EX" is able to expand inventory of Partner Machinery. With this device, your Partner Machine’s inventory will be expanded by an additional 50 items. You can use more then one to double your PM’s inventory from 300 to 500 items.

"The official site just reported that the title update for the Xbox 360 servers has been approved by Microsoft, so most of the content from the past few updates will be hitting the servers this Friday! Unfortunately, Forest of Illusion will not be included with this update. An official reason why has not been given yet.

According to chillaura at the official PSU forum, the content from this update which has not made it to the PC/PS2 servers (PM devices, NanoTrancer EX, etc.) should be added with this Friday's maintenance. We'll have more information as it surfaces."

They're working on it, hopefully this time there won't be "another method."

the slicer glitch will probably still work. its not nearly as troublesome as the machine gun one though.
