Gi and Dam techs I'd say are most useful on a fT. I personally have found Gi techs to hardly be useful on anything other than a fT with 31+. Other classes either have a whip, or some other AoE that outdoes it.

In fT terms, with the returning range of the old 21+ in v.1, its quite deadly. Especially if you're smack dab in the middle of a mob. Doing about ~1200-1300 damage (could be more, my fT is only about lvl 85, haha) to 4/5/6 targets is pretty nice. Better if you're blocking and canceling the animation for increased speed.


As for Dam techs- being able to hit multiple targets over a nice frontal cone range while flinching them back, AND inflicting a decent lvl SE is godly in the right situations. Such as a pre emptive mob assault.
